Chapter 2 - Chapter 1

The night was quiet at the ruins of the Potter house. The smoke from the destruction had barely cleared when a heavy shadow approached the doorstep. Rubeus Hagrid, enormous and solemn, arrived on his flying motorcycle, carefully carrying the Potter twins.

The ride to Privet Drive was tense. Hagrid's heart ached at the sight of the little ones, especially the tiny Lucien, whose amethyst eyes sparkled with curiosity even amidst the chaos.

At Privet Drive, Professor McGonagall and Albus Dumbledore were waiting. McGonagall's sharp eyes softened when she first saw the twins. "They're… so small," she whispered. "But that youngest one… adorable."

Dumbledore knelt closer to examine Harry, noticing the lightning-shaped scar on his forehead. Then he looked at Lucien—no scar, no mark. He studied the child for a long moment, weighing his options.

Finally, he made a decision. "Harry will go to his aunt and uncle, as you know, Minerva," Dumbledore said. "Lucien… must go to an orphanage."

McGonagall blinked in surprise. "An orphanage? But… why not keep them together?"

Dumbledore sighed. "The wizarding world already knows Harry Potter as The Boy Who Lived. Lucien… will remain unknown, protected in anonymity. This is the safest way."

McGonagall nodded reluctantly, understanding the grim necessity. Hagrid carefully placed Harry in front of Number Four, Privet Drive, where the Dursleys would take him in. Lucien, still swaddled, was sent to the orphanage—unknown, unclaimed, yet safe.

In the days that followed, the wizarding world celebrated Voldemort's defeat. Children laughed, families rejoiced, and newspapers heralded Harry Potter as the boy who had saved them all. But very few knew of the other twin. Only members of the Order of the Phoenix—the Weasleys, the Bones family, and a handful of neutral families like the Voles and Greengrasses—were aware of Lucien's existence.

Meanwhile, Severus Snape, furious upon discovering Lucien's fate, stormed into Dumbledore's office. "How could you leave a child in an orphanage?" he demanded, his voice trembling with anger.

Dumbledore remained calm. "There was no other choice, Severus. Privet Drive would have been unsafe for him as well. This ensures his anonymity."

"If you ever do something like this again," Snape warned, "I will not work for you. I will leave this place."

Dumbledore nodded silently. "Understood."

Snape left, muttering to himself, but his gaze lingered. From afar, he would occasionally visit the orphanage, watching over Lucien, ensuring the boy was safe without ever revealing himself.

Lucien's Orphanage Years (Ages 1–4)

Lucien grew in the orphanage, surrounded by other children who never quite understood why he was so… different. His crimson hair and amethyst eyes made him stand out, though his bright smile and mischievous laughter often melted the hearts of the caregivers.

Even at this young age, Lucien displayed uncanny intelligence and curiosity. He would often babble to himself in a way that seemed far beyond his age, drawing puzzled looks from the staff.

From the shadows, Snape observed. The young boy reminded him of Lily in so many ways—the tilt of his head, the determined glint in his eyes, even the tiniest curl of mischief on his lips. Snape never approached directly, afraid that revealing himself too soon might frighten the child. Instead, he lingered at the edges, a silent guardian.

Little did anyone know, Lucien's life in the orphanage was preparing him for something far bigger than the ordinary world around him.

At this point, the story can then jump to the adoption into the Lionhardt family, marking the official start of Lucien's new life, his system awakening, and playful interactions with his adoptive sisters—while keeping his secret existence as Harry's twin a plot thread.
