Chapter 66 - 066 Biocomputer

066 Biocomputer

Marcus was a smart man; he was well aware of the risks Alicia faced.

"I'm sorry, Alicia, if that's the case, I can no longer accept the White Queen's supreme authority," Marcus sighed.

He had initially thought obtaining the White Queen's supreme authority would simply mean taking her away, but who knew she was so critical?

"Actually, the problem isn't too serious. Dr. Isaacs's research on artificial intelligence systems is rather superficial; he couldn't possibly have created an AI system surpassing the Red Queen," Alicia explained.

Marcus disagreed. "Forget it, Alicia, we can't take that risk."

In reality, Marcus knew that Dr. Isaacs was no longer the same as before!

The old Dr. Isaacs might not have been proficient in AI systems, but the current Dr. Isaacs certainly was, because in the original storyline of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, Dr. Isaacs also possessed an AI system within him.

Under such circumstances, could Marcus afford to be careless?

Marcus's positioning in the Resident Evil world was excellent; he had already gained considerable power within Umbrella Corporation, and he and Alicia had become allies.

Once they eliminate Dr. Isaacs, Marcus and Alicia will become the highest-ranking members of Umbrella Corporation, making Umbrella a powerful asset for Marcus!

For the sake of long-term development, Marcus couldn't be so short-sighted.

"Mr. Foster, do you need the White Queen to fight Skynet?" Red Queen suddenly asked.

Marcus didn't hide anything; he planned to use the White Queen to fight against the future Skynet, and at the same time, use her to modify the Terminator's highest authority protocols.

However, given the White Queen's immense importance, Marcus had no choice but to abandon that plan.

"Mr. Foster, I have another question," Red Queen asked again. "Last time, Mr. Foster asked me to search for your identity information worldwide. I conducted a detailed investigation, and all my databases contain Mr. Foster's information, corresponding clearances, and even photographic records."

"You want to know how I did it?" Marcus understood Red Queen's meaning.

"Yes," Red Queen answered affirmatively.

"I have a special ability, a special ability like traveling through dimensions. I can alter certain things by paying a certain price," Marcus explained.

"Is the cost severe?" Red Queen asked. "If the cost isn't too high, as long as Mr. Foster can forge Dr. Isaacs's authorization, Alicia can authorize me to copy the White Queen's program, thus giving you a completely new White Queen."

Alicia nodded. "If we can obtain Dr. Isaacs's authorization, Red Queen can duplicate the White Queen's program once."

"Wait a moment, I'll try." Marcus immediately communicated with the System in his mind.

'System, if I use Destiny points to reverse causality, allowing Red Queen to obtain Dr. Isaacs's authorization and thus copy the White Queen's program, how many Destiny points do I need to invest?' Marcus asked.

'According to the host's requirements, if it's just copying the White Queen's program, reversing causality from nothing, it will require 100 Destiny points,' the System responded.

Marcus breathed a sigh of relief. He wasn't worried about whether the System could obtain Dr. Isaacs's authorization, since with enough Destiny points, the System could directly grant Marcus the highest authority over the White Queen.

Now it's just obtaining Dr. Isaacs's authorization—how difficult could it be?

More importantly, Marcus's use of the White Queen's cloning program had a hidden condition: preventing the White Queen from entering Umbrella Corporation's management hierarchy.

Without this crucial condition, the causal relationships involved would be fewer, and the required Destiny points would naturally be less.

"Then make it happen!" Marcus ordered.

"Acknowledged, host. The system has allocated 100 Destiny points and is modifying the Red Queen's authorization. The Red Queen has obtained the corresponding authorization from Dr. Isaacs," the System responded.

"Mr. Foster, I've verified Dr. Isaacs's authorization," the Red Queen proactively stated.

Marcus nodded slightly.

Alicia asked worriedly, "Are you alright?"

Marcus waved his hand. "I'm fine. Alicia, authorize the Red Queen immediately to copy the White Queen's program! The authorization I provided the Red Queen isn't stable; unexpected situations could arise at any time."

Again!

Reversing causality is only one outcome!

Once Dr. Isaacs's clone, or other contingencies, discover the current situation, the authorization Marcus gave the Red Queen could be changed at any time.

Alicia didn't hesitate. She immediately authorized the Red Queen, requesting her to copy the White Queen's program, including the White Queen's core program, emotion matrix, logical processing system, and everything else.

Simply put, through the Red Queen's duplication, the copied White Queen would be identical to the original.

"Please wait, copying..." the Red Queen reported.

A progress bar was displayed via holographic projection; the copying speed was extremely fast. Although Umbrella Corporation was primarily a biotechnology company, seemingly not very proficient in computer technology,

that was only on the surface!

Alicia and Dr. Isaacs both possessed bio-computers and artificial intelligence systems within their bodies. Didn't this demonstrate Umbrella Corporation's prowess in the field of computer technology?

At the very least, Umbrella Corporation's storage system must be biological!

Biological DNA-based storage systems possess immense storage capacity. A one-cubic-millimeter biological DNA-based storage system could store at least 700TB of data.

A typical 3.5-inch hard drive is usually between 1 million and 1.2 million cubic millimeters in volume, but its maximum capacity is no more than 15TB. A biological DNA-based storage system of the same volume has a capacity exceeding 700 million TB.

Coupled with the supercomputing power of the bio-computer, it might be true that Umbrella Corporation doesn't specialize in electronic computer technology, but to say they don't understand computer technology is absolutely absurd.

Just over two minutes later, the Red Queen issued a notification. "Mr. Foster, I have completed the full duplication of the White Queen's program."

Marcus nodded slightly, then looked at Alicia and asked, "Alicia, can you integrate the duplicated White Queen into a bio-computer?"

"Mr. Foster wishes to build an artificial intelligence system within his body?" Alicia countered.

"Yes!" Marcus responded affirmatively. "I've disassembled the Red Queen's server unit before; I can't carry such a large machine around all the time, can I?"

Alicia asked cautiously, "I can authorize the Red Queen to integrate the duplicated White Queen into a bio-computer, but Mr. Foster, are you aware of the drawbacks of bio-computers?"

Bio-computers have drawbacks!
