Alicia's Vault.
Marcus and Alicia jointly decided to save the world from the Resident Evil crisis.
"Mr. Foster, how should we deal with Dr. Isaacs?" After forming an alliance with Marcus, Alicia's first target was Dr. Isaacs.
Marcus guessed that perhaps it was because of the hatred for her father's murder?
After all, how could one easily forget such a grudge!
Marcus smiled and replied, "I noticed in the Red Queen's protocols that she must protect the high-ranking executives of Umbrella Corporation, right?"
"Yes." Alicia nodded. "All executives with Level 6 or higher clearance are protected by the Red Queen."
"So Dr. Isaacs can't kill you?" Marcus asked, voicing his question.
Alicia's answer confirmed Marcus's theory. "Both the Red Queen and the White Queen's core underlying protocols have directives to protect me. If Dr. Isaacs kills me, the Red Queen will lose control, and she will destroy the entire Umbrella Corporation."
"Just as I thought!" Marcus sighed.
"Logically speaking, I should be able to eliminate Dr. Isaacs, right?" Marcus asked tentatively.
Alicia shook her head. "Not yet."
"Oh?" Marcus looked at Alicia with confusion.
After all, it was Alicia who first suggested dealing with Dr. Isaacs, and Marcus said he could eliminate him, but Alicia said not yet.
What was going on?
"Based on my understanding of Dr. Isaacs, if we actually kill him, even if you can bypass the Red Queen's restrictions, the Red Queen will definitely notify his clones, leading to the collapse of the anti-T-virus project," Alicia explained.
"We still have Dr. Charles," Marcus pointed out.
"What if Dr. Charles can't solve the problem?" Alicia offered her perspective. "Mr. Foster, when I suggested dealing with Dr. Isaacs, I didn't mean to kill him immediately."
Alicia continued, "He did kill my father, but I can wait. I have time now, don't I?"
Marcus nodded. He had misunderstood Alicia's meaning. Alicia was probably worried that he would eliminate Dr. Isaacs prematurely, right?
"Then let's wait until the anti-T-virus is successfully developed before dealing with Dr. Isaacs?" Marcus suggested.
"Agreed!" Alicia nodded. "There's one more thing, Mr. Foster. I can't appear publicly."
"Hmm?" Marcus asked, "Why not?"
"Because of the protocols. If I publicly assume control of the company's operations, according to the directives, Dr. Isaacs's clones will definitely awaken the original." Alicia explained the situation.
"Won't the Red Queen notify Dr. Isaacs?" Marcus asked.
"No." Alicia replied.
Marcus understood instantly.
The Red Queen's core programming was ultimately written by Dr. Marcus. Even though Dr. Isaacs and Alicia had the same clearance level, the Red Queen still favored Alicia.
"I will support you from behind the scenes, Mr. Foster. Please, save this world!" Alicia said earnestly.
Marcus nodded. "I'll do my best!"
After discussing some details, Alicia summoned the Red Queen again. "Red Queen, Mr. Foster has some tasks he needs you to handle."
"Acknowledged, Mr. Foster, what do you need?" the Red Queen asked.
Marcus explained, "Two things."
"First, to protect Alicia's safety, I will assign her three security personnel." Looking at Alicia, Marcus added, "I will give you one Terminator T-1000 and two Terminator T-800s."
He further explained, "I will transfer their highest level of control to you. This process will be completed under the Red Queen's supervision, and the Red Queen will verify the transfer of highest control authority for the three Terminator units."
Alicia had initially thought Marcus was arranging to monitor her, but hearing him mention transferring highest control authority, she felt secretly ashamed of her suspicion.
"This..." Alicia hesitated. "Mr. Foster, they are too valuable, I..."
Marcus interrupted Alicia. "Do you think our only threat is the T-virus?"
Alicia looked at Marcus with confusion.
"Red Queen, the second thing is to monitor all suddenly appearing personnel globally, especially those within our company. I require you to store the database with multiple redundancies in various states, particularly the data on Alicia's security personnel and staff. You must have numerous backups and offline cold storage," Marcus instructed.
Red Queen immediately understood Marcus's meaning. "Mr. Foster, are you concerned about a situation similar to Jake Jensen and his team, or that group who suddenly appeared before?"
Marcus nodded. "Yes! Red Queen, you asked me before who they were. Now I can reveal some information. According to the intelligence I've obtained, they are members of a mysterious organization. They can travel to different dimensions to obtain so-called 'points.'"
"Understood. Please rest assured, Mr. Foster, I will protect Alicia," Red Queen replied.
"Issue my orders. Have my bodyguards number three, four, and five report here. I want to transfer their access protocols to Alicia," Marcus explained.
The three Terminators quickly arrived at Alicia's vault.
Marcus reminded her, "Red Queen, I will soon open their communication interface. You can only monitor the entire transfer of authority, but you cannot make any modifications, understood?"
"Please rest assured, Mr. Foster," Red Queen replied.
Marcus began instructing the three Terminators to establish a communication link. He started setting up the transfer of highest authority, explaining, "I've retained secondary authority so I can still command them to execute missions in case of any abnormal situations."
Alicia nodded. "No problem."
About ten minutes later, Red Queen notified them, "Alicia, I've verified all their code, and their highest authority has indeed been completely transferred to you. Mr. Foster no longer has their highest level of control."
Alicia looked at Marcus gratefully. "Thank you, Mr. Foster."
"We're allies now!" Marcus replied with a smile. "After all, your safety is extremely important. If something happens to you, the world will inevitably be destroyed."
He added, "Actually, I have another request. I hope to obtain the highest authority from the White Queen. With your help, plus Red Queen, I should be able to obtain White Queen's highest authority, right?"
If Marcus had offered to exchange the three Terminators for White Queen's highest authority first, Alicia would never have agreed.
However, Marcus had already transferred the highest level of control over the three Terminators, meaning that regardless of Alicia's consent, she had already obtained full control over the three Terminators...
