Chapter 19 - Chapter 88 Astral Titan

  "Who are you?"

Lin Bai became wary, slowly rising into the air, looking down at the ground, ready to reverse time at any moment, or rather, after initially utilizing his divine power, his death would trigger a time reversal.

"My previous name was Aaron. You don't need to be nervous, I mean no harm, I just have a certain aversion to dragons."

The deep voice sounded again, strangely, Lin Bai couldn't discern the source of the voice.

He probed calmly, "Aversion to dragons, why? Do you have a grudge against dragons?"

Lin Bai used his mental power to control a wisp of soul power to attach to the ground, feeling the ground tremble, but still found nothing.

"Enmity, you could say that. I am an Astral Titan, chasing a sinful dragon to this planet. The dragon's aura possesses intense radiation, capable of destroying the planet's environment."

"I was originally going to capture the sinful dragon, but the planet's native beast god colluded with it, ambushing and severely injuring me, sealing me here. They've also laid down a cursed array with divine power; as long as the curse continues, the seal will not disappear. Human, help me slaughter all the orcs outside, and I can grant you endless power and knowledge!"

The self-proclaimed Astral Titan's voice was impassioned and seductive at the end.

  *Heh*

Lin Bai sneered inwardly, not believing a word it said. The optional quests on the panel weren't completed; this guy wasn't telling the truth, or rather, not entirely.

"Endless power and knowledge, what a boast! With such power, why were you sealed here? Even if you promise, at least give something concrete."

Lin Bai, intrigued by the bait, revealed an impatient expression, taking out the three skill books he'd obtained in the trade and flipping through them one by one.

The surroundings quieted down, broken only by the sound of Lin Bai turning the pages of his book. Acquiring a skill, even without directly consuming the skill book, could be learned through study, but the effort and time required were far too great, making it entirely unworthy of the effort.

Dawn was approaching, and Flander's mental energy within the small world was gradually becoming more active, showing signs of awakening. Lin Bai closed the book and said, "Since you have no sincerity in cooperating, then I'll leave."

With that, Lin Bai slapped the skill book onto his body, which transformed into specks of light and dissipated, flying away into the distance.

"Human, wait, what do you want?"

The deep voice grew even lower. Lin Bai withdrew his telekinetic power; he was certain that the owner of the voice was either deep underground or some distant underground location, otherwise, it would be impossible for him not to detect it.

"First, tell me why you want to cooperate with me. My mount is from the dragon race you despise, and its strength isn't particularly high, at least not as strong as that group over there. I'm curious, what's your reason for wanting to cooperate with me?"

Lin Bai's gaze was intense. The power of conviction within his Time-Space Divine Spark was slowly depleting, enhancing his perception of spatial attributes. In his eyes, the surrounding space became visible; if there were any alternate dimensions nearby, they couldn't be hidden from him.

"You're stalling for time, trying to find my location? Don't waste your energy. The seal of the Beast God isn't something a mortal like you can break. The only way to lift the seal is to kill all the beastmen."

The voice sounded again, seemingly seeing through Lin Bai's thoughts.

But Lin Bai smiled slightly. He was completely certain that he possessed something that the voice's owner coveted. Considering the other party's method of preserving consciousness during the time reversal, it wasn't hard to guess that the other party needed the power of the Time Divine Spark.

"How will you know it won't work if you don't try? Don't change the subject. Answer my question, or tell me your true origins."

Lin Bai revealed his true purpose, "Don't lie. All the gods are long dead. Astral Titans, comparable to gods, couldn't possibly be alive. Believe me, I have plenty of time to slowly wear you down."

Lin Bai wasn't a mind sorcerer, but he knew a little about applying psychological pressure. In negotiations, disrupting the other party's mindset was undoubtedly the best way to gain the upper hand.

"They're all dead? No wonder you can use the power of time."

The voice didn't deny Lin Bai's speculation about its identity. "Then, you're useless."

Hearing this, Lin Bai immediately became vigilant. His three soul rings—yellow, purple, and black—flashed one after another. His external soul bone demon eye strengthened his mental power, constructing a comprehensive mental defense. His light and dark demon body strengthened his physique, and his soul power and mana formed a shield.

A terrifying malice, as deep as an abyss, emerged from all directions, silently attacking Lin Bai. The outermost soul power shield was the weakest and shattered first, followed by the mana shield and the psychic shield. Just as the attacks were about to land on Lin Bai, a magnificent and lofty aura descended, its heavy and dense energy blocking the hidden malice.

"World power? Impossible! How could a mere mortal control a world!"

The voice in the shadows was both furious and resentful of the wasteful use of such power, its envy almost overflowing.

Lin Bai smiled. His small world wasn't just for raising flowers and animals; world power was the very essence of the world, capable of forming all matter. When used for defense, it was the most solid material.

Moreover, it was particularly effective against astral life. Worlds have an instinctive fear and repulsion towards astral beings, and world power could help protect them.

Lin Bai felt the defense was quite easy, indicating that the voice was at least telling the truth about the astral Titans, and perhaps it really was related to them.

"You've passed my test. State your conditions, and I'm willing to cooperate with you."

The owner of the voice was utterly shameless; failing to attack, he quickly turned to cooperation.

  "No need."

Lin Bai's lips curled into a smile. His Time-Space Divine Spark shone brightly within his spiritual space. His eyes pierced through the deep permafrost of the plateau, revealing all living beings. His power of belief was being consumed rapidly, reaching one percent in the blink of an eye—enough for one instance of time reversal.

This terrifying consumption also greatly enhanced Lin Bai's abilities. Twenty thousand meters underground, he discovered a ten-thousand-meter-long corpse.

It was a humanoid being clad in a metallic armor. Even in death, it inspired awe. The surface of the metallic armor was engraved with special runes, still shimmering with spiritual light underground, its secrets unknown.

Lin Bai's heart tightened. This was the corpse of the Astral Titan, the entire plateau a seal erected to suppress it.

At the head of the Titan's corpse stood a spirit over a hundred meters tall, its eyes blazing with ferocity and rage. It glared angrily at Lin Bai. Sensing the spatial fluctuations, it knew it had been exposed. It never expected that Lin Bai could not only reverse time but also possess such powerful spatial abilities.
