Amanda sat down, careful not to look away too quickly. She knew the kind of men like him, observant,powerful, always ten times ahead, But she also knew how to hide her truth in a plain sight, she knows how to keep her expression calm.
"I have been told that you are efficient, calm and Relaible," he said, folding his hands.
"I try to be," Amanda replied calmly with her face down to the earth.
"Try harder.I don't tolerate mistakes."
He stood and walk around the desk slowing, his gaze never leaving her. " You will see and hear things in the house. Things you might not understand. Don't ask questions and don't interfere cause it is entirely none of your business."
Amanda nodded, but her thoughts whispered otherwise. She was here because of the secrets and everything he said she will likely go against them.
"Never enter the East wing, I don't have any explanation for that, just don't enter the west wing," Mr Adrain said looking straight into her eye.
Amanda on the other hand was listening attentively.

"Rules number 3,do not speak to any guest unless they speak to you first, I don't have any reason for that, you just do as I say,"
"Rules number 4, Avoid mirrors after dark" Mr Adrain stated, Amanda on the other hand was getting scared cause this rules are eerie but her expression was calm.
Mr Adrain continued, " If you hear whispers at night don't follow them stay in your room, I repeat stay in your room"
"Never mention the name Eleanor in this house," He said.
He continued his eye gazing at her " On the last Friday of every month,you are not to be on the second floor."
" Finally, Should you find a lock door unlocked that is usually locked, do not open it come to me immediately."
