POWER SYSTEM - Everything in this story and in this fictional world has a "astra"(অস্ত্র) or which you could simply refer as the path. Now if you ask what is this path ? Allow me to elaborate
Everything in this universe can be classified broadly into three categories - 1. Material or physical 2. Spiritual 3. Soul
(Note- don't confuse spritual with soul)
1. Material — For every physical or material or any kind of object that can be seen or felt or has a body is a follower of the path of MRITYUNJAY (মৃত্যুঞ্জয়) "mrityunjay" means those who have conquered death itself
• this path is called MRITYUNJAY because a person did conquer death itself following this path and was crowned with the title of "MRITYUNJAY" but his name has been lost to time . To honour him this path is still named after him .
Power — this path allows one to train their physical aspect to the peak of mortality . To go past it they need to shed the constraints on their physical aspect which here can broadly be categorised as death or "mrityu"( মৃত্যু) but it can be anything as long as it constraints them and "constraints" here means to bind or to anchor them in the plane
As for what is plane ? We'll know later (^^)
2. Spritual — In this universe everything that has a "thought" or "will" follows the path of spirituality. Now for a thought to exist it requires a physical aspect to bound it so one who follows the path of spirituality must have a physical aspect anchoring them to the plane or they will drift along with the notion of "flow". This path did have a champion as like the material path but the name of the champion was "consumed" by fate and time so nobody remembers it . However he gifted the path of spirituality it's way
Power — The path of spirituality follows "sastra"(শাস্ত্র) or logic. This path requires it's user to follow logic . It offers supreme power but offers limitations too. It's almost like give and take policy but here you can overcome the need to give . Should you have complete knowledge of a way you can use it to have that "astra" or path to yourself without giving up anything. Now, if you may ask what is exactly giving up ? What can be given up? And what are the conditions that set the exchange? Allow me to explain
Think of sastra as a big circle with a diameter drawn . Now if you stand on its one side the plane will stand on the other side . Now if you need the knowledge of how to use fire ? The plane will not answer because there are various knowledge of how to use a fire you must specify it to it's exact use . Let us consider you are asking for how to use fire in a fight ? The plane would ask in return your will to use water in any form of fight meaning " THE PLANE WILL ASK THE EQUAL AND OPPOSITE OF WHAT YOU DESIRE ". Here the trade limits yourself to only use fire in any form of fight but in this hypothetical scenario if you learned yourself how to use fire yourself you wouldn't have limited yourself. The sastra gives you instantaneous mastery but limits yourself.
3. Soul - The path of soul is yet to be used but it's existence has been confirmed.
Astra or path is the cumulative result of a individuals will aspect and way a rock will have the path of solitude or patience whereas water may have the path of flow or resilience. Path are different with difference in power a rock can't have a path equal with power to a sword with its path
Contemplate and understand the system you may think it's incomplete or complex but it's essential to the story of you don't understand it the story will feel incomplete for you .
