"You stopped screaming rather quickly, whereas others would have passed out within an hour. You remained conscious and silent throughout, disregarding that start."
Lumi slowly opened his eyes, though he didn't remember closing them. The ritual room swam in and out of focus as his body tried to process what had been done to it. "Practice." he managed to croak out despite having endured such pain.
"Practice enduring soul deep agony?" Azir raised an eyebrow. "That raises concerning questions about your past."
If only he knew.
