With the move of their legs they went further onto pebbles and red ground lands. They heard faint tracking of movements, but it was nothing that made them feel scared. They passed high triangular rocks that was carved with unsteady footing.
" Do you think you're wife will be here?" asked Zaril'n, the silence was too much.
" No," responded Ehzia flatly.
" I've been thinking Mr. Ehzia, I'm sorry-" apologized Zaril'n before speaking.
" But the further your wife is within demon's hell means she must had done something bad. Mr. Ehzia was your wife evil?" finished Zaril'n.
Ehzia abruptly stopped hearing this, his figure frozen and his eyes wide open. All these passed years he's never really thought about it. And thinking about it now and even deeper Ehzia now thought, was his wife even searching for him? Why didn't he think about it all this time.
" I don't know and if she was, it was my fault," answered Ehzia starting to walk again.
Seeing hat mentioning his wife or her being in hell for evil pushed some sort of wall so Zaril'n made a mental note not to do it again.
After about three hours they finally came across civilization. More rocky lands were seen and they say cave like houses with no doors and demons were everywhere walking around being busy with whatever they had to do or they were chattering about. After going further in all eyes within sight snapped to where Zaril'n and Ehzia stood, it was instant as if they crossed some sort of invisible barrier.
The demons were intrigued and suddenly they crowded around the too.
" Dat-a human in'a Hell?"
" Impossible'a"
" Dis-a deception?"
" So'a Zaril'n this's yur human?" asked a demon with a huge smirk.
" Never mind's that'a! Let'sa kill him's and then'a us'a can go to sinners hell and feast'a!" a demon standing on one of the houses voiced thrilled with his idea.
All the other demons nodded and laughed in agreement.
" been a while since I'a ate human'a flesh so's don mind's if I'a do'a!"
" Eat'a!"
All the demons poured to Ehzia.
" Stop it!" shouted Zaril'n.
All the demons stopped instantly. But not because they wanted to listen to Zaril'n or because he was anyone important.
" His'a hav'a human tongue,"
" Its's interest'a,"
The demons peered at Zaril'n for a moment before ignoring him.
" I'ma take his'a arm!"
" I'a want'a his's eye!
" His'a ear for me'a!"
They all held a limb of Ehzia as he tried to struggle free. Zaril'n tried pulling the other demons about, but he was easily ignored. Ehzia tried pulling himself from their grasp, but they were relentless as they pulled him carrying him somewhere.
With cheers and demands they carried Ehzia off and Zaril'n was took weak to stop anyone who he followed while pleaing.
They finally came to a stop as they placed Ehzia roughly onto a large square rock table. They held Ehzia down despite him trying to wriggle free. A bulk demon came over an axe made from stone in hand.
" I said let me go!" demanded Ehzia' pulling a leg free from the demon's hold and kicked him away hard. The demon watched stunned.
Ehzia pulled a hand free and shook them off.
" What is it that you want of me!" shouted Ehzia, but he didn't need a response as the demons chuckled with hungry, predatory eyes.
" Body,"
" limbs,"
" flesh,"
" blood,"
" your'a life,"
"the'a soul would'a be nice'a,"
Each answer was responded by a set of demons, all with their gaze still on Ehzia.
" Stop it!" screamed Zaril'n since the noise had died down and they now could hear him.
The demon uninterestedly turned to look at Zaril'n who scampered to stand before Ehzia with his arms up. The demons chuckled looking at their own demon kind.
" Mr. Ehzia-" Zaril'n bit back his tongue before he continued he knew they wouldn't care for his name.
" the human is looking for his wife!" Zaril'n announced.
The demons were silent before laughing out.
" So he's looking for a demon?" asked a demon before breaking his laughter.
" Huh?" worded Zaril'n bringing his arms down. A demon he thought, why didn't he think of that, Ehzia wife might be a demon by now. It makes sense, the demons seeing the retracted expression from Zaril'n laughed again. Even shouting that he was stupid.
Ehzia wife might be a demon, that just might be very true.
" I don't think she's here, we'll be taking our leave then," spoke Ehzia.
The demons laugher snapped as they were drawn back to the human. Zaril'n was mostly in thought and Ehzia remained composed.
" Let's go Zaril'n," said Ehzia taking the little demon's hand which he did not retaliate.
" Wher you'a think your'a go?"
" I'm leaving of course,"
One of the demons was ready to charge forward, but was stopped.
" let them'a go'a,"
"Ah!"
Even Zaril'n was surprised looking up to where the leader figure of a demon stood. The other demons watched them go in silence, but it was broken when one of them made a joke.
When they reached the river of lava Zaril'n called out to Dalvvar just as before and the dragon arrived after about two minutes. Ehzia wondered if this beast was always close by or something.
While they were traveling along the lava Dalvvar could tell that something was wrong, but he wasn't sure how to ask. In silence they arrived at the third floor and the two descended on land.
" There's no need for you to accompany me Zaril'n," Ehzia told Zaril'n. " I'll go alone," finished Ehzia walking off. He could tell that the truth might hurt Zaril'n.
Finally Zaril'n snapped from his thoughts.
" No you can't go alone, they'll eat you instantly!" shouted Zaril'n as he ran stopping in front of Ehzia.
" I can defend myself,"
" I'm coming!"
" No you are not,"
Ehzia and Zaril'n were staring eachother down, both wanted the last say. Seeing them both Dalvvar sighed rattling his throat.
Dalvvar was not intrigued to help this human, if it wasn't for Zaril'n he wouldn't be here. He knew the little demon's strange liking so he was willing to help.
" Human I don't think your human I'sss on these floors," spoke Dalvvar pulling his s's.
