This was troublesome. Emperor Kaiden had gotten a dangerous idea in his mind and, knowing him, he would see it fulfilled even if it was the last thing he ever did.
There was nothing Shuu or anyone else could say that would change his mind.
What was worse? Shuu felt like he was losing his mind and reason at the same time. He knew that letting Emperor Kaiden have his way was not the right thing to do… but his brain could not recall why it was so…
Maybe he should let the Emperor do what he wanted…
"Shuu…! Found you…!"
A body slammed into Shuu's at full speed and he looked down, only to see Caelis's familiar hair. Rin followed suit, his sweet eyes looking up at Shuu as well, but then the child looked behind and buried his face in Shuu's legs.
That finally snapped Shuu out of his daze and he was able to focus on the two kids currently trying to grab his attention.
"Hey, this is not fair. I was here first. I want Shuu's attention as well."
"No-! Shuu… mine…"
