The air was tense in the imperial palace, and everyone was looking at Shuu. He could feel their interest even when they tried their hardest to hide it.
But he remained quiet and unmoving for the sake of his child. Caelis did not deserve to face such troublesome things.
"Prince Kaiden, why don't we ask Shuu what he wants? Since he is the one who will be staying in the palace, he should be the one who gets to decide where he wants to live."
Liam's words turned the conversation toward Shuu once more, and he had to think about the best way to go forward.
At first glance, the best thing to do seemed to be following Prince Kaiden's lead. But something in Shuu told him that he would be in much more danger if he did that.
Not only that, but the looks he was currently getting would become much worse.
