"W-What happened…?"
The leader questioned as Jenna stumbled backward. Her wide eyes looked at the sleeping puppet in front of her.
"I-I don't know. But we should start heading back now…are we missing someone?"
Jenna asked as she looked around. The group behind her consisted of ten people, but she could only count eight of them right now. Two had disappeared.
"Oh yeah. The kids said they found some amazing spots to harvest food, so they left to take care of it. You don't have to worry about it."
The leader laughed off Jenna's worries with ease, but instead of making her feel better, it worried her even more.
She immediately grabbed the leader's shirt and pulled him closer to her before she yelled at him.
"What do you mean they found 'amazing spots' to harvest food? This is not a free-for-all. You can't just…ugh, we need to find them and bring them back before anything happens."
