Tyler POV
The last I remember was getting shot when finally getting the advantage. Then I felt my eyelids shut but then a burst of energy surged into me, and next thing I knew…
…I ended up here.
I was in a place that obviously looked like a marine soldier's quarters. Junior was nowhere to be seen. I lifted up the blanket and saw that there were bandages wrapped around my stomach. I got up, wincing. I needed to find Junior.
I stepped out of the quarters and walked around the island. When I got near the middle of the island I heard people shouting and Junior's voice was among them. I got closer and saw the marines throwing a huge party and were lifting Junior and cheering. A marine lieutenant raised his glass of champagne and yelled, " TO JUNIOR SHADOWORTH, FOR BRINGING US FREEDOM AND PEACE!! WELCOME TO THE WORLD GOVERNMENT! WI
TH THIS I GRANT YOU THE POSITION OF MARINE COMMODORE!!"
It looked like Junior had been able to enter the marine's ranks after all, and was already promoted to a commodore. I smiled and walked towards the crowd, clutching my bloodied stomach. All of a sudden, everyone stopped partying. Some of the soldiers glanced at me. Junior ran over and hugged me. "A little easy…", I muttered. Junior told me the marines had accepted him into their ranks.
And all of a sudden Junior walked forward and shouted, "Gentlemen this is the man who made this victory possible, my soon to be pirate friend, Tyler Riggs! Three cheers to Tyler! HIP HIP…"
…HURRAY!! HIP HIP HURRAY!! HIP HIP HURRAY!!" yelled the marines. "Well, Tyler, you helped make my dream come true… now it's your turn. Go be the greatest pirate you can." I smiled and started to tear up.
I thanked Junior for his support and headed off. I looked back one more time and smiled gently. I headed to the dock and boarded a dinghy I saw.

I was headed towards an island I had heard the Alveolar Pirates talk about a lot: the place known as Pirate Village. I was headed there because I hear a pirate crew on that island has the map to a part of the sea called 'The Grand Line'.
I looked around at the tiny looking but vast number of islands on the ocean. One day, I'd rule this all just like my old man. I had just smiled at the thought when the sea started to rumble. I stood up and looked at the figure rising from the sea— it had the head of a lion and body of a snake
It was a sea beast.
