The red haired man stood panting and out of breath. He looked at the demon in despair. The demon had 4 arms and a pair of wings.
Demon: Stand down Cassius
Man: Don't you dare call me by my birth name
Demon : All your friends are dead. Their powers are now mine. Do you really think you can defeat me now
Cassius : SHUT UP.
Cassius stretched out his hand and a huge flame burst out of his hand towards the demon. The demon casually flicked his wrist and an ice wall sprouted in front of him blocking the flames. Cassius sped towards the wall in anger. His hair burst into flames. He punched the ice wall shattering immediately. He then attacked the demon throwing punches here and there . None of which found their mark. The demon's speed was beyond imagination. He grabbed Cassius by the neck lifting him off the ground. Although Cassius was tall,a good 7.9 ft, his height paled in comparison to that of the demon. The demon opened its mouth and began to suck in Cassius' essence. Suddenly, another group appeared. Each one as tall as Cassius. One of the beings had transformed into a werewolf
Werewolf : Midas stop this at once
The demon finished sucking in Cassius' essence and turned to look to face them ,a smirk on his face
Midas : How convenient. I was coming to you next . I'll suck in all of your essences and overthrow the Omniscient one himself
Werewolf: As long as I, Rexen, have breath in me, I will do everything in my power to stop you
Beside Rexen stood 3 other beings 2 females and a white haired male. The white haired male who was known as Ionis had electric sparks hovering around his body and his eyes glowed. One of the females had black hair whilst the other was blonde.
Midas: You were given powers which are rightfully mine .
Rexen: You didn't deserve them.
With that, he charged at Midas. Midas gestured with aa look of disdain and a spout of water materialized and wrapped around Rexen freezing him instantly. Midas quickly turned to block an attack from the blonde female who welded two blades. As soon as they came into contact with his arms the daggers were sent flying straight into the ground. Midas knocked her to the ground and turned stamping his feet on the ground. A huge hand made out of fire sprouted and caught the other female who was getting ready to attack. Suddenly a lightning bolt struck him and sent him flying. He landed perfectly on his feet and faced Ionis who was brewing with anger Ionis sped towards him and punched him hard. Midas reeled for a moment before regaining his balance. Ionis sped towards Midas once more but was suddenly yanked back. A chain has bound both his hands to the ground. He pulled but it didn't budge. Midas smiled wickedly. Behind him, the blonde had recovered and was holding her blades tightly. With a loud cry, she attacked from behind raising her blades Midas side stepped quickly and delivered a fatal kick to her head. He grabbed her and sucked her essence. His body glowed and his previous wounds healed. He smiled in satisfaction. Meanwhile, Ionis was struggling with the chains frantically passing current into them. Midas payed him no attention and walked casually to Rexen who was frozen solid. Part of the ice on his face had melted. Midas opened his mouth and sucked in his essence then turned to the female who was still in the fire hand's grip and sucked in her essence
