"Hey, how did you know Shino could defeat Zaku?"
Sakura looked amazed as she saw Shino defeat Zaku with such ease. After all, she had seen what Zaku could do.
But she never expected this battle to end so quickly, and most importantly, the battle ended because of a hole in Zaku's palm.
The same hole that he used to release powerful wind attacks.
Naruto proudly folded his arms, putting on his goofy smile as he said.
"Because Shino has Sasuke's strength with Shikamaru's mind. Though his bugs always scared me."
He couldn't help but shiver when he thought about those bugs entering his body.
At least, Sasuke could use Fire Style to counter Shino's bugs. He didn't even have that.
He couldn't imagine what he could do against Shino except for tiring him out using Shadow Clones.
Of course, there was another way. Letting Shino eat his Chakra until his bugs get a stomachache.
Shikamaru looked at Naruto with surprise. He never thought Naruto knew about his mind.
It didn't feel like Naruto at all. But looking at that goofy smile of his, that was Naruto.
So, even the strongest mind of Konoha 12 got stumped.
"Naruto-san, I never thought you knew about me."
Shino suddenly appeared next to Naruto and asked.
"What? When did you come here?"
Naruto jumped away in fright as he asked.
"I just came. You haven't answered my question, Naruto-san."
"Duh! Of course, I know about you. You are Hinata's teammate after all."
That was probably the only reason.
Not exactly, but Naruto couldn't stop thinking about chasing Hinata.
He didn't love Hinata. He was sure of that, but he didn't want to disappoint Hinata.
Especially when that girl loved him as well.
So, he wanted to get into her circle first and be sure if she still loved him.
Only then would he make his move.
At this moment, Hinata, Kurenai, and Kiba had also walked closer.
When Hinata heard her name coming out of Naruto's mouth, she immediately blushed.
"Shi…Shino-kun…Congratulations!"
"Hey, great job! But how did you figure out that guy's weakness on the spot?"
Shino turned around and said.
"I didn't. I just blocked the pipe on his arm. I never thought he had gone through body modification."
At this moment, Hayate spoke.
"Umm.. I think we should go to the next match."
[Tsurugi Misumi Versus Kankuro]
The battle between Kankuro and Misumi brought quite a surprise to the Leaf Village Genins.
Misumi quickly went behind Kankuro to strangle his head, but when he did, things turned bad for him.
As the Kankuro that he killed was just a puppet, and the real Kankuro was hiding inside a white cloth wrap.
And at that moment, the battle ended with most of Misumi's bones broken.
The next match was Sakura Versus Ino.
This was probably the most boring match for Naruto to watch. Because he had already seen this battle in his memories.
So, watching the same battle again felt weird.
He didn't remind Sakura of anything, and the battle pretty much went the same way he had seen in his memories.
But most of the memories didn't come from this battle. Instead, it came from the future Sakura.
As teammates, they had often talked about each other in their missions. So, Naruto learned a lot about Ino from Sakura instead of Ino herself.
He knew Sakura had a strange relationship with Ino.
They loved the same person, but it was clear that Ino was only after looks while Sakura had true feelings for Sasuke.
Sakura saw Ino as a rival and the best friend. She was the one who helped Sakura when she was bullied at her younger age because of her forehead.
But she also knew Ino always saw her as someone who needed protection. Sakura saw this, but she never got a chance to change it.
Only here she truly had a chance to show Ino that she didn't need Ino's protection all the time.
That she had grown up as a kunoichi and friend.
Looking at her explode her Chakra at a perfect point, Naruto couldn't help but grumble.
"Having such a sharp Chakra Control is so good."
Suddenly, he remembered something and turned around.
"Hey, Hinata, you also have Perfect Chakra Control, right?"
Hinata never thought Naruto would ask her such questions out of nowhere. She couldn't help but blush while lowering her head.
"Naruto, you can't ask another ninja about their strength and weaknesses even if you are a fellow shinobi from the same village."
Kakashi scolded Naruto and turned towards Kurenai.
"Sorry about Naruto!"
"No, I just didn't think he knew about Hinata's Chakra Control." Kurenai glanced at the boy with a small smile on her face.
She could see that her student had a crush on Naruto, and while Naruto's reputation wasn't good, she wouldn't go out of her way to belittle Naruto about it.
"Naruto, shouldn't you be looking at your teammates' battle?" Kakashi asked.
Naruto folded his hands and said.
"It's going to be a tie."
Sasuke raised his eyebrows and said.
"You don't think Sakura can win?"
Naruto rolled his eyes towards Kakashi and grumbled.
"If someone had taught her something."
Then, he looked at Sasuke and punched his palm.
"Sakura always tries to get close to you. Couldn't you have taught her Genjutsu?"
Sasuke clicked his tongue and said.
"Don't blame me! She is the one who didn't want to train."
At this moment, Kurenai showed a look of surprise as she said.
"She does have a great Chakra Control. It shouldn't be a problem for her to learn Genjutsu if she wishes to."
"Right, right, man, I am so jealous. No matter how hard I try, I will never be able to learn Genjutsu."
Naruto couldn't help but grumble when he thought about it. Suddenly, his face wrinkled as he looked at Kakashi and asked.
"Kakashi-sensei, do you think that if I use Genjutsu, I will overload the enemy's Chakra Pathway system and cripple them?"
