"You won't talk to me? Because of that kid's words?" Vernon asked while removing his mask once Marvin was out of their sight.
Helena smiled and shrugged, "I knew him before I knew you, after all."
"What?" Vernon did not understand. How could she know ANYONE before him?

"Yes. I met Marvin before I met you, Ernie." Helena smiled.
