"Wake up, Wake up Essia!!" Cedric's voice boomed loudly in Essia's ears as he shook her awake on her bed.
"But i'm sleepy" Essia whined as she covered herself with some pillow but that didn't stop Cedric, Her brother with Navy Blue hair and Sapphire eyes from pulling her blanket away.
"Come on. Wake up!" Cedric shouted.
Essia pouted, her sleep completely ruined. She is completely awake now but she doesn't want to get out of bed without a fight. Grabbing into the mattress she didn't budge on Cedric's tugging her feet.
"OH! Come on, I want you to see something!" Cedric groaned in annoyance; he then began to remove the pile of pillows that covered Essia's face from the sun rays.
"Ugh. It better be something nice" Essia said finally having enough. Her small hand rubbed into her sleepy eyes as Cedric pulled her along the Pristine Hallways of the Crystal Palace.
The morning wind makes Essia's whole body tremble as they walk, which causes Cedric to remove his vest.
"I don't have a coat, just use this instead" Cedric said while they walked towards the Crystal Gardens. Wearing Cedric's vest with a scowl The Siblings went to the center of the garden where a large tree sat alone in a large flower field of Gem Flora.
"Look at this!" Cedric said with a smug look as he raised his hand up in the air.
A moment of silence settled between the two.
"I'm going back" Essia turned back towards the Palace but Cedric pulled her wrist.
"Just wait! I just got it today" Cedric insisted and Essia only yawned in response. Sitting under the Bird caged shape Gazebo Essia watched Cedric as he continued to wave his hand around trying to do something and Essia was already dossing off when it suddenly happened.
Essia was startled by water sprinkling into her face and she look at the location of the water, Cedric said with a smirk, "See i could do cool stuff like this"
With his pointing finger and thumb raised while the rest folded together Cedric naked a sign and at the end of his finger accumulated out of thin air was a small amount of water that was sent hurling towards Essia. Just between her eyes send her head bob upwards.
"HEY!" Essia shouted at Cedric. Cedric then sticks his tongue out at Essia and begins to run, Essia chasing after him.
They already arrived at the Bedchamber when Essia managed to tackle Cedric down and press her knuckles on his head.
"Are you two arguing again?" Queen Annie, who had Azure hair with glowing tips, asked.
"No.." Essia said, pulling away from Cedric.
Queen Annie only let out a sigh, as she brushed her hair in front of her vanity table.
"Where's father?" Cedric inquired scanning for King Eric who was nowhere to be seen.
"He didn't manage to return home yesterday because he helped some people below." Annie explained.
"But it's my birthday." Cedric said with a solemn face.
"Indeed it was" Cedric's eyes widened at the voice behind him, He immediately threw himself to hug the person behind him with a smile.
"Father" Cedric shouted as he hugged Eric.
Eric ruffled Cedric's hair, before picking him up to his arms, "Happy Birthday, Cedric"
"Father! Father! I got magic now" Cedric said with a smile, "I'm a Water Mage Just Like Mom and You"
"That's nice" Eric praised him with a monotone voice before turning to his wife, Annie with a nod.
Eric approached Annie with Cedric still in his arms, "Did you miss me?"
"Of Come on" Annie said with a smile, "I always will"
Watching the three interact with each other makes Essia feel an unknown longing as she stands there by the sideline.
"Essia" Essia's thoughts were cut off when Cedric called for her.
"When you got your magic, let's test it out together" Cedric said with a smile.
"Come here, Dear" Annie ushered Essia closer towards them, "Hug your father. He just got home from his journey at Sitan"
Essia took a step forward the Three with a smile, "I'm glad your back, Father" Essia said towards the King with a smile.
Eric then proceed to shook her hair aggressively, "You both been growing up quite fast"
"I still remember you both being so little" Eric continued, "Also, We got a guest"
"A guest? Wasn't that forbidden?" Essia inquired.
"Not totally. But our rules are indeed strict" Eric then ushered them to the door, "Lets go she awaits us at the throne room.
"You let her stand there on her own," Annie muttered.
"It's just a few seconds dear" Eric replied as the servants opened the doors for them.
There stood alone a small figure, wearing clothes different from what common Tulalian citizens wear.
Unlike baro't saya. The little girl wore something completely different. Essia noticed the intricate patterns on the girl's dress and it must be what they call 'malong' or other stuff.
The little girl noticed their glance and turned to them, revealing an adorable little lady.
Essia heard Cedric let a small 'woah' and she too remember wanting a little sister before.
