"Y-you're not joking, right?" Evander was still staring at the transparent screen that appeared in front of him, his body trembling.
Evander had said earlier that he would collect 1,000,000 Gold this week, but he didn't expect that the compensation he would receive for fulfilling customer Requests would be this small.
If this were the case, Evander would have to do this job for the rest of his life without being able to change back into a human.

"You're only giving me 24 hours to find all those items? Wow, you really are a heartless Boss." Evander shook his head in disbelief.
It was no different from when Evander had to race against time to deliver his customers' orders. The difference this time was that Evander had to find the items first before giving them to customers.
Remembering that time was running out, Evander immediately activated his Search Skill to start looking for the items he needed.
"Searching, On!" Evander's eyes glowed golden when his Skill was activated.
Instantly, the forest around him looked different to his eyes. All the information about the objects around him immediately appeared, while red exclamation marks appeared on certain objects.
Evander automatically took a step closer to the exclamation marks he could see from a distance. Evander didn't need to worry about his body being cut by branches or leaves because his body was just bones.
Evander realized that when his body swayed as he walked, he could hear the sound of his bones creaking as he moved, and honestly, it bothered him a little.
"It really worked," Evander muttered softly when he found the Everbloom leaf he needed.
As is usually the case in games, the items Evander needed would be marked with an exclamation point when he activated his Search Skill.
Carefully, Evander picked the Everbloom leaf and put it in his inventory. It took Evander nearly two full hours to explore the forest and collect 50 Everbloom leaves.
"Finally, I completed one Request. The problem is, I didn't find any other items while exploring this forest. Do I have to go somewhere else to find them, System?" Evander was a little anxious at the thought of having to go somewhere else.
The problem was that Evander's current appearance was really just a skeleton without any clothing covering it. Evander was sure people would be shocked if they saw him wandering around in public.

"Then I want to complete the first request first." Evander chose to complete the Request he had already finished so that he would have Gold on him.

When Evander checked his inventory, he realized that the 50 Everbloom leaves he had collected earlier were gone, and instead, 50 Gold had been added to his wealth.
"Then, I need clothes to cover my skeleton body right now. Do you have anything I can use?" Evander asked the System, hoping it could help him solve this problem.

Evander rolled his eyes when he realized that the System intended to rob him in broad daylight like this. But Evander had no choice but to pay the System 20 Gold to get the set of clothes.
"Fine, I'll pay you 20 Gold." Evander reluctantly gave up 20 Gold to pay the System.
In an instant, Evander's wealth decreased by 20 Gold, and a golden glow enveloped Evander's body.
A moment later, Evander's skeletal body was covered with clothes, complete with shoes and a cloak to cover his face. Finally, Evander could breathe a sigh of relief.
"At least this way I feel a little more human, even though it's still uncomfortable." Evander felt like screaming in frustration, but refrained from doing something stupid like that.
"Now it's time to find out where I can get this set of materials!" Evander hurriedly opened his request tab to find out where he could get them.
Evander pressed the small button with a magnifying glass symbol on it, and in an instant, a small transparent screen appeared, telling him where he could find the materials.
"No wonder this Request has a 3-star difficulty. To get them, I have to kill monsters in certain places, and I even have to wait until nightfall to get the Essence. Looks like I have to go to the nearest town first to get the tools I need for mining and weapons, of course." Evander muttered, rubbing his chin as he thought.
To complete this Request as efficiently as possible, Evander had to strategize and start with the easiest preparations first.
