He saw the sky darken as a large, colossal hand reach down from the sky and grab towards him. Even before the hand reached him, the world had collapsed around him.
The building he was standing in had collapsed into dust, which was why he could see the sky and the hand reaching down from it. He also saw everything else and other humans in the city turning to dust. But strangely, no one was panicking.
No one acted differently despite their lives being in danger. They went along with whatever they were doing as they shattered into dust as if they couldn't see the hand in the sky or perceive what the hand was doing.
Only Loki appeared to be able to see that arm, and only he was still intact despite everything around him crumbling into dust. Despite being unscathed, the terror of death and danger in his heart only intensified.
