Chapter 11 - TITO Chapter 11 Week one

With the Tower and Drawbridge complete the tasks started to get a little repetitive for the next few hours since they had to gather enough dirt to be compressed. So after the about 5 hours and 4 more energy reaccumulation sets, Hiper decided to mix it up and took over carving the spikes for Justine and Justine was tasked with figuring out the water situation.

Yes they already dug out and set up a well, the rope is just an extra sturdy vine they grew. It goes 20 feet deep from the basement level, the ground water probably rises seasonally or its just that deep. Either way that is fine, plenty of water for a few dozen people and they are even working on figuring out a pump spigot. Justine is in charge of that too but that isn't the water situation. The situation is the groundwater is too hard to raise for potential farmland and berry and fruit bush fields. Luckily Tako found that the spring that starts a stream leads to a river and if you backtrack the river there are falls not 25 minutes of walking from the tree, and about 6 minutes of flight at current top speed. It is almost at the perfect height to direct an offshoot of an earthen path to a reservoir outside the moat.

No they aren't going to fill the moat, it's not like they have predatory animals to stock up with and it's meant to be defensive in nature. filling it with water would render the big pointy sticks ineffective as well. But even with earthbending making things way easier, Justine ends up working into the night on this task. It's jut a lot of repetitiveness like the rest of everything. First 5 minutes of rapid earthbending a properly packed canal. 10 minutes of of rapid swallowing of everything edible that they have already maxed out stats from. 30 minutes of deep concentration only digesting and recuperating bending energy and rinse and repeat. In fact it takes so long that they work through the night and only get another 2 sessions of earthbending away from the tree by sunrise.

Luckily the other 2 clones slept through the night as was agreed upon. and since Tako wanted to mix things up and not just gather gather gather, they take over. Hiper continues working on the pointy sticks and Justine gets a few hours of some much needed rest. Finally about 3 1/2 hours after sunrise the three clones fly to the falls and hold a little ceremony.

"This took longer than we expected, especially the last part of digging out a proper reservoir. we also need to make a waste runoff eventually. But we have plenty of time, especially when you consider we haven't had to poop yet. which is a little concerning but hey. It's probably a side effect of our vore ability or something else. None of us have died from constipation. but without further ado lets free the water and start filling that reservoir."

And with those not so ceremonious words the three clones earthbend in unison opening a hole in the riverbank near the top of the falls and watch the water flow and walk back along with the water. Appreciating their handiwork along the way. While they walk the clones spot something float by in the water and Tako flies and grabs the surprised slime.

"HELL YEAH A SLIME!!" Tako says as they hold the squirming blob that is trying to escape and Tako is trying not to kill it. "Here reach into the pouch and grab out the dead bird I grabbed earlier, lets tame this thing." Tako says and Hiper does as they ask and grabs out a dead crow like bird but larger, about the size of the horned rabbits about 2 1/2 feet in length, and holds it next to the squirming mass until it calms down and latches on and starts dissolving the crow. While it is eating the crow Justine Holds out their hand and focuses their magic imagining taming it and speaks the word. "Tame!" To a satisfying trio of notifications.

"Boom Baby! We tamed one of the most famous fantasy creatures out there. Starter mob, Trash mob, first tame. There are so many ways to refer to slimes, and there is a divide between those that like them and those that don't. Obviously we fall into the former. Lets name the slime Bob, Bob the Blob the slime." They all laugh a dumb laugh and resume walking home while letting bob dissolve the bird. Slimes are supposed to develop based on what they eat the most of right? Let's feed bob tons of edible mushrooms and water and see if we can't get a mushroom stock slime. if we get more slimes we'll do a healing slime then a waste slime. even if we don't produce waste there are plenty of animal droppings.

15 Minutes later the trio of clones return to the tree where they set their new companion in a designated basement room with a skylight that they built with bending and planted mushrooms and used magic to make the mushrooms plentiful and built a little water pool inside it. Bob's Cavern, they call it, Truly a paradise for the little slime. and they make sure to check on bob and grow more mushrooms every time they refill on energy. growing perhaps too many mushrooms, not that it matters since they already found 30 different edible mushrooms and occasionally will find one or 2 more while Tako is out gathering.

And just like that they resume the monotonous preparations of turning their tree into a veritable paradise. They see some passing wolves during the 4th night while Tako is on watch they seemed to be curious about the structure that appeared in the forest and the blue and purple glow of the dragonkin's hair, but they didn't get to close so there wasn't a problem. Day 5 Tako hunted 7 more horned rabbits, and 3 of those birds which they learned were called Flyk's (fleek). They also found 3 almost complete skeletons, 2 very large around 7 1/2 feet tall and one short and very stout about 4 1/2 feet tall and a very broken axeblade. They put it to a vote and decided to save the prey and bones in the spatial storage bag until day 7 to celebrate their first week in the new world.

Day 6 was very fruitful and came with 5 more rabbits and 8 flyk's, as well as 2 more slimes which were promptly tamed and given their own areas. One was put in a walled off medical herb garden in the village and named Tsar. The other was put in a cavern under the bathrooms named Ford. On top of all of that the village area inside the wall both above and below ground was complete for now. The underground became a lot of well organized and divided storage areas with stone bins and shelves The village had a small version of any amenity you would need. A market, Blacksmith, Tavern, Baker, Gym, Training grounds, Office building bathrooms, bathhouse with functioning stone pipes and metal faucets. However if you want hot water you have to light the fire in the designated baths but otherwise it's good. A mini mill was also built and a barracks next to the guard tower, as well as an alchemy lab. It doesn't matter that it's all kind of small this village is going to grow up and down not out. I mean it is called Tako's Tree Tower after all.

Tako also transplanted a couple hundred berry bushes and lots of wild crops, such as Habo the tomato like plant and grows on squat bush like plants. Chur which is similar to zucchini, and grows on stalks. Erma which is similar to wheat Kiel a corn like plant that grows in short bundles. Thymial the ivy like plant with the onion roots, Pallu a grass like plant with roots similar to peanuts. Sa'a a beet like plant, and many more. They also cut up and planted the potatoes and made non slime related areas for all kinds of mushrooms and medical and non medical herbs.

With the Fields started and the village done for now, plenty of prey for the celebration at the end of day 7, and 3 tamed slimes, all that is left is the big pointy sticks. Literally everything else is good to go, even a couple of secret entrances into the moat. Even a spigot next to the well has been done but they are still working away on the big pointy sticks. So the 3 clones decide to work together nonstop until the moat has been filled with iron capped big pointy sticks. So they worked for the rest of day 6 and all through the night and thanks to the fact that they got so good that it only took 1 minute to carve one they finished the remaining work in about 5 hours and got a good full night of rest before day 7.

It's a good thing they finished up the work because shortly before sunrise they hear a loud crash and squealing and barking and howling. And when they go check there is a large 7 foot dying common forest sea bristleback boar and a common blue forest sea wolf impaled and dead in the moat with a few other wolves leaving the scene. The wolves must have been hunting the boar and it fled right into the moat with a wolf on it's back. Either way they are thankful for the prey/food. They scoop the future meal into the spatial storage bag and fix and preplace all of the fallen and downed BPS (Big Pointy Sticks).

Once the wake up call has been dealt with they all gather in a small empty square shack that they made in preparation to be a shrine there are 12 alter shelves. Specifically 12 Because they learned through a holy light crystal that there are 12 gods in this world. And the 3 clones gathered more holy light crystals and saved them so that they could eat them while searching specifically for the knowledge of their appearances. So that is what the clones do they evenly divide out the crystals and sit and meditate while digesting and using their minds to seek out the knowledge they want. 12 equal sized rocks waiting to be shaped into the forms of the gods.

First is the Goddess of life a tall slender woman around 10 feet tall with long straight hair wearing a kimono type dress. Next is the God of death who looks like a grim reaper only he is barely 3 feet tall and wields a giant scythe with a 9 foot handle. Then is the god of reincarnation a jovial hunched old man wearing a buttoned up vest and long sleeve shirt and slacks leaning on a cane standing at about 5 feet tall. Then is the god of nature, a figure who could be an elf, orc and dwarf at the same time with scaled skin and webbed hands and feet, and a narrow tail wearing a grass skirt and a leather vest at the same time, holding a bow and looking like neither man nor woman about 4 feet tall.

Then is the Goddess of creativity, a plump woman in coveralls with a hammer and chisel with her bushy hair tied up in twin buns and a pair of goggles on top of a bandana about 6 feet tall. Then is the god of possibilities who is mostly shapeless with a pair of wings and looks like the fairies from that game series with lonk size undeterminable. Next is the goddess of spirits, a majestic 11 foot tall slender wolf with long fur and mighty antlers and a tail of fire. Then there is the God of the elements, a short scaly kobold with a long robe and a staff about 4 feet tall.

Up ninth is the god of merchants a noble Goblin in a nice suit with sideburns and wearing a pince-nez and a top hat about 3 1/2 feet tall. Tenth is the God of dragons a majestic long wyrm in a form similar to Chinese dragons wrapped around a mountaintop hundreds of feet tall. 11th is the god of magic a cloaked figure in short robes and sandals holding a glass bottle and a wand face unseen and about 5 1/2 feet tall. Last is the goddess of the undead a shapely vampire wearing a flowing deep cut dress with thick curly long hair covering her shoulders.
