The red-eyed rabbit was perhaps the species of wild beast with the most numerous population and fastest reproduction on the wilderness around the castle; every night when Jasmine stood upstairs, she could see those pairs of red eyes like ghostly will-o'-the-wisp fires hovering nearby.
If it were not for the fact that the enclosure wall had been repaired tightly and two thick wooden doors were installed outside the gate to block the way, it was estimated that those red-eyed rabbits would continue to run into their vegetable garden to stroll around like an uninhabited place.
Even so, their persistence was truly terrifying; every morning when Jasmine went to check, she could still discover brand new teeth marks gnawed on the wooden door, and looking at it, one knew it was the masterpiece of destruction of the red-eyed rabbits.
