LIAM'S POINT OF VIEW
I had never seen Alpha Zyn this angry before, his hands were folded into fists, his mouth was set in a tight gritted line, his eyes was clouded with resentment.
I flinched and moved backwards from him, I tried to move away even more but he held me in place.
"You knew about this?" He asked with menace in his voice.
"You fucking knew that my Luna is your mate?!" He yelled as he punched the wall behind my head.
"Annalise is not yours, she is my mate." I replied, not sure where the sudden boldness came from, it was most likely from the fact that I could not stand him calling my mate his, she is mine… my mate.
Zyn shoved me painfully against the wall.
"You are mine! I'm not going to let some stupid little princess take you away from me!" He yelled sending a glare Annalise's way, at that moment I feared for her life, I knew that he was going to do to her what he had done to Jocelyn and everyone else that I had ever loved.
Annalise is going to be killed like Jocelyn and every other person that I have ever loved.
"Pl…please don't…don't do it." I begged, the image of Jocelyn cold and lifeless on the ground stuck to my head except this time Jocelyn's face was replaced with Annalise's.
"Please." I begged again.
"Too late Liam, when I kill her just know that it was all your fault." Alpha Zyn whispered in my ear, I looked at Annalise.
I want to protect her, it is my duty to protect her as her mate, I want to protect her from this monster but I'm not sure how.
"Okay you win I am yours, I don't care about the wolf bond I have with Annalise, I am yours forever Zyn." I said and hoped that that will convince him.
"Then reject her… reject Annalise as your mate right now." Alpha Zyn said and I froze in place.
"Then it's her funeral." He replied and signaled for his guards to take me away. I tried to struggle out of their grasp but as usual I couldn't.
I hate how helpless and useless I am! I should be protecting Annalise, my mate but I cannot and now she is going to die in that brutal monster Zyn's hand and I cannot save her just like I could not save any of them.
I was dragged and pulled to the palace's driveway from where I was supposed to be tossed into a car and driven to my part of the palace, the east wing.
We got to the driveway, I was still struggling, trying to get back to Annalise, trying to convince Alpha Zyn not to kill her like he did the others.
I was still struggling against the strong grip of the guards when we heard the first gunshot. Then all the lights of the usually dark driveway came on, ten werewolf emerged from the darkness, nine of them were in their wolf form just one of them retained his human form.
The nine werewolf immediately started attacking the two guards holding me, then their leader (the one still in his human form) pulled me to where he was standing.
"Tell Alpha Zyn that if he ever wants to see his beta again he would have to hand over the golden wolf Annalise." Their leader said and then a cloth was placed over my nose and I became unconscious.
ZYN'S POINT OF VIEW
I pulled her by her hair down the hallway.
"Let me go! Let me go!" She yelled but I ignored her, I don't care that she is the last golden wolf, I don't care about all the power she possesses.
I don't care that her powers will make me the most feared Lycan alpha known to wolf kind, all I care about is the fact that HE loves her. The muscle in my neck tightened. Liam loves this golden wolf, I can see it in his eyes and I cannot stand it.
I cannot let it happen, she will have to die for things to go back to normal between Liam and I.
He gets sidetracked sometimes, he sees someone else and thinks he loves them, it is my duty to bring him back to his senses every time.
It is my duty to remind him that I am the only one for him and the most effective way to do that is to erase them from the face of the Earth. I did it with Jocelyn and the rest of them, now I'm going to do it to Annalise.
I held her again the wall and pushed the knife into her but for some reason it would not go in.
I tried again and again but no matter what I did she would not die. She is a golden wolf, does that mean she is immortal? I wondered internally and then tried to kill her again but for some reason it did not work, it's like she is being protected by a force field. Frustrated, I threw the knife down and glared at her in anger.
She had tears streaming down her eyes.
She cannot be killed! She is always going to be a threat to me and Liam's love!
My heart is thudding painfully in chest, Liam has to be mine forever.
My phone ranged, I picked it up, grateful for the distraction.
"Hello" I said slightly annoyed that I hadn't checked the caller ID.
"I have your beta tied up next to me, deliver the golden wolf to the address that I just sent by three or he dies." The person said. Confused, I checked the caller ID. 'private number' was all that was written on my phone screen.
"Did you hear what I just said?! If you don't deliver Annalise to me then Liam dies." He said again. The thought of Liam dying scared me but I immediately grew calm after thinking about it for a few seconds.
If Liam dies then I would never have to worry about him loving someone else ever again, he would be mine forever… in my heart.
"Kill him then." I replied and ended the call…
