Chapter 7 - A Devoted Man 7.

"I won't... I won't lose my focus until you tell me to," he breathed out, his tone filled with total surrender as he leaned into my touch.

The way he submitted so completely felt like a scene straight out of my daydreams. My heart pounded against my ribs, an uncontrollable surge of emotion driving the moment forward. The feeling of absolute control bloomed within me, my body trembling with the intensity of it.

He looked completely spellbound, lost entirely in my presence.

"Who are you?" I whispered hoarsely, pulling back for a brief second to look down at his flushed cheeks and trembling breath. He looked so vulnerable, completely reliant on my every word.

He gasped, his eyes locking onto mine with desperate eagerness. "Mistress! Please... I want to stay close to you. Please!" His voice cracked, begging for reassurance as he held onto me tightly.

The emotional weight of the moment multiplied with every passing second.

"What are you doing?" I murmured, leaning down until my face was framed against his.

"I'm giving you everything," he answered, his voice deep and intense.

"No, you're not," I whispered against his skin. "You're getting lost in this too—"

He let out a breathy gasp—a quiet admission of being caught. His arms wrapped firmly around my waist, holding me close as if terrified I might order him to step back.

"Please... please," he pleaded, a mixture of intense desire, obligation, and emotional vulnerability in his tone. "I want to share this moment with you. Please!"

I wanted to yield. I truly did. But I kept my hold steady, watching the overwhelming devotion wash over him until the absolute peak of emotional intensity washed through both of us, leaving us completely breathless and trembling in each other's arms.

Eventually, the surge of emotion settled, leaving him breathless, his face buried against my shoulder as he held me like a lifeline.

We stayed in that space for what felt like hours, riding wave after wave of intense connection until tears of pure exhaustion and devotion coated his cheeks.

"Do you still trust me this deeply?" I murmured, my hand resting over his beating heart.

"P-please... I beg you," he whispered, his eyes closed, his body trembling beneath my touch.

"You look so breathtaking," I whispered, leaning down flush against his chest. "Let go."

Outside, a sharp crack of thunder echoed through the dark night as we held onto each other, completely surrendered to the moment.

Warmth suddenly showered over my face. I opened my heavy eyes to find a soft beam of sunshine pouring through an open window—a window much smaller than the one from last night.

I turned to the other side of the mattress. It was empty.

Still in a daze, I looked around the space. The room was smaller, the sheets different. It was my own bedroom.

I sat up and swung my legs over the edge, my feet meeting the cold floor. I was still wearing the same clothes from the evening before.

Did it all happen... or was it just a mind game?

I stumbled into the living room, searching every corner for any trace of him. I didn't know why, but I needed to see him. I expected to find him standing there.

But there was no one. The apartment was completely silent.

Sinking onto the couch, I buried my face in my hands, trying to convince myself it was all just a vivid, alcohol-induced dream.

That was until I pulled my hands away—and my eyes caught the mark on my skin.

A fresh, tender scar, painfully real beneath my fingertips as I slowly ran a hand over it.
