"Let me see," Misty said as she ran up to Venomoth.
Venomoth waved the hypnotic object in its hand, and Misty was instantly hypnotized as she began clapping repeatedly with hazy eyes and making barking sounds like a seal.
"Misty, what's wrong with you," Ash asked in shock.
"Misty has also been affected by the Hypnosis wave," Brock said with a frown.
At that moment, Misty suddenly pushed everyone aside and ran out.
"Quick, follow Misty, this way we might be able to find those missing children," Raj said as he ran after her.
Misty kept running until she reached a very large park in the center of the city.
When Raj and the others arrived, they discovered the park was full of missing children who were all behaving like Pokémon.
Some were bouncing endlessly in the pond like Magikarp, others were crawling on trees like Caterpie, and some were flapping their arms like Pidgeotto.
"These are all the missing children, so they were all here," Officer Jenny said.
"Brock, do you know what's going on," Raj asked.
"It should be Reversion to Pokémon Syndrome, similar to human atavism, this is caused by Venomoth's altered Hypnosis wavelength affecting the children and making them imitate Pokémon," Brock said as he wiped cold sweat from his forehead.
"So Misty," Ash said as he looked at Misty clapping near the water.
"Alright everyone wake up wake up, don't be like this children, your parents are very worried about you, come on let's go home," Officer Jenny said as she gently tried to lead a child away but was pushed aside.
"Oh right what if we ask Drowzee for help," the butler who had followed them suggested.
"Drowzee," Raj repeated.
"Yes, Drowzee emits dream wavelengths, perhaps its wavelength can counteract Venomoth's wavelength."
"That's right, it might be worth trying," Raj said.
After bringing Misty back to the rooftop villa, the butler had Drowzee emit dream waves toward Misty.
Soon after, Misty fell asleep, and after a short while Drowzee clapped its hands and Misty woke up.
"Misty you need to become even cuter," Ash said as he leaned closer to her.
"What are you talking about I'm already very cute okay," Misty snapped angrily.
"Alright it looks like she's back to normal," Raj said with a smile.
"Let's have Drowzee use its dream waves on the children in the park as well," Officer Jenny said.
"Okay let's hurry and help those children return to normal," Ash said as he lifted Drowzee onto his back and rushed outside while Venomoth and the villa's owner watched from the doorway.
"What I got Reversion to Pokémon Syndrome," Misty asked while running.
"That's right you even turned into a Seel," Ash replied.
Suddenly a bright light appeared in the sky.
"What is that it's coming this way," Misty said as she stopped and looked upward.
"Since you asked so sincerely."
"I will answer you with great compassion."
Team Rocket flew in using gliders and landed directly at the villa entrance.
"Venomoth and Drowzee will be taken by us Team Rocket," Jessie said as she pulled out a mirror.
"Can you make the people inside fall asleep watch this alright betting on the reputation of the sleep wave master make him fall asleep."
Venomoth released its Hypnosis wave toward the mirror and nearly hypnotized itself.
At that moment, Ash suddenly picked up a flowerpot and smashed the mirror in Jessie's hand.
"Damn it this was a plan we painstakingly came up with," Jessie shouted angrily.
After that, Jessie and James each took out a whip and tied up Drowzee and Venomoth, pulling them toward themselves.
"Staryu go," Misty shouted.
Staryu spun rapidly through the air and cut the whips apart.
"Do you even know what you're doing you're so annoying," Raj said as he touched the throbbing vein on his forehead.
"Gyarados Hurricane," Raj ordered coldly as he released Gyarados.
"Roar," Gyarados let out an angry roar and unleashed a massive storm that scraped the ground and blasted Team Rocket into the sky.
"I'm going with the wind floating around."
"What a nasty feeling Meowth."
"Don't just stand there Ash let's go," Raj said as he looked at the stunned group.
At that moment, several white-collar workers inside the hall were shocked by Gyarados's strength and began whispering to each other.
"This kid is too strong it seems this plan can only be abandoned."
"And those three useless Team Rocket members how disgraceful if it weren't for them we might have succeeded with these two hypnotic Pokémon we could have achieved many things."
"Alright talking about this now is useless since that's the case let's retreat first."
"Okay let's go."
After saying that, the two walked into the shadows and removed their formal suits, revealing colorful Team Rocket uniforms with a large R on their chests.
Raj and the others then brought Drowzee to Central Park.
Drowzee used its dream waves and quickly woke all the children, who immediately ran home.
"Don't forget to restore all the Pokémon at the Pokémon Center too," Raj reminded Ash.
"That's right," Ash replied as he followed Raj and the others back to the Pokémon Center with Drowzee.
"That's great everyone is back to normal," Nurse Joy said with a smile.
"But I wonder what dreams the Pokémon were having," Misty said curiously.
"The matter has come to an end Detective Ash's deductions are truly invincible," Ash declared confidently.
"You didn't deduce anything."
"Exactly."
Misty and Brock looked at Ash speechlessly.
"Why is there still a Pokémon here that looks distressed," Raj said as he noticed Psyduck holding its head.
"How about this we'll take care of this one and send it back Misty is a Water-type Pokémon Trainer and Brock is a Pokémon Breeder," Raj said to Nurse Joy.
"Oh that would be a great help," Nurse Joy said with relief.
As they walked along the road, Psyduck followed behind them while still holding its head.
"Why do I have to carry this silly Pokémon," Misty complained as she walked backward and looked at Psyduck.
"Psyduck a Pokémon that is always troubled by headaches," Raj's Pokédex reported.
"So this child has had a headache since the very beginning," Misty said as she pointed at Psyduck.
Suddenly, Misty tripped on a stone and a Poké Ball fell from her belt.
Psyduck immediately opened the Poké Ball by itself and entered it.
"That's great Misty you caught Psyduck," Ash said excitedly.
"Oh my goodness why did it run into my Poké Ball by itself," Misty said helplessly.
Raj looked at Misty's disgusted expression and thought that she would probably love Psyduck very much once she discovered how strong it could become.
