Ego.
Pride.
And the rest of those fancy words people always used to describe those who were simply on a higher level than they were. Those who were way above their league.
Those words floated in the heads of the passersby as they stared at a young man who had an air that their puny minds couldn't quite discern.
Dressed in a fitted all brown outfit that framed his muscular body, the man's cold blue eyes never lost focus. His eyes, improperly hidden by his overflowing black bangs, peered ahead.
His every step radiated an aura around him that he didn't even know he exuded.
The young man didn't mind the stares. He had gotten quite used to them — a quite loveable effect of his upbringing. Well, one of the only perks that came with his upbringing, to be exact.
The young man in question was Jericho. An enigma of a man.
