Turning into lightning, I ducked under the bullet and dashed forward, blasting the door into bits, cracking the tiles of the hallway, and causing each and every one of the ancient chandeliers to shake as I dashed toward the enemy.
I barely even registered the fact that the hallway was littered with hundreds of heart-less corpses and slash markings from all sorts of demons.
But despite all that chaos and death... it only took me a fraction of a second to arrive in front of the person who shot the bullet at me, and it wasn't anyone I recognized.
It wasn't a demon, but instead, it was one of the Grade 50 Templars.
One of the people who were supposed to be protecting this cathedral and the rest of the Harper Citadel from whatever's happening.
And yet...
That person is now attacking me?
Instead of killing him outright, I reappeared behind the templar.
