A few hours later, Lin Feng stretched his arms above his head and looked down at his notebook.
The pages were filled with notes - everything he needed for the business registration. He had also looked up information online for the parts he was unsure about.
I should be able to register without any issues.
That being said, he glanced at the system screen floating before him and could only let out a sigh.
[Personal Balance: ¥3,880.00]
He was back to being broke again.
Well, I should be able to recover in a few days.
His system balance was about to hit 1,500 yuan tonight. That alone would help him bounce back quickly.
Speaking of, it was almost time for his teaching job.
This was the other use for the office he had been thinking about. Here, he had much more freedom since he was the only one using it. And he didn't have to pay the daily 60 yuan at the net cafe anymore.
He pulled out his phone and opened the camera, turning it toward himself.
The image quality was quite nice. It seemed that girl Su Yue hadn't lied to him. The phone's camera was about the same as the webcam he had been using before.
He would use his phone from now on - at least until he purchased a laptop.
He added that to his mental list of priorities. At this rate, he should have enough money by Monday.

Saturday, September 26th.
[Infinite Money System]
[Total System Balance: ¥1,540.00]
[Available System Balance: ¥1,540.00]
[Personal Balance: ¥5,405.00]
Lin Feng dismissed the system and looked around the room.
His three roommates were already gathered, ready for their daily meeting.
"What's the report?" he asked. "Zhang Wei, you first."
Zhang Wei adjusted his laptop slightly before speaking.
"I've almost completely fixed all the bugs," he said. "Right now I'm working on a handful of quality of life features." He paused. "To be honest, the app is almost complete. After this, there won't be much to work on except maintenance."
Lin Feng nodded. "Good work. Chen Ming?"
Chen Ming's expression was a mix of excitement and concern.
"Popularity is growing," he said. "But that also invites some unwanted guests." He let out a sigh. "We've had a few trolls show up in the group chat. I handled it, but this might get worse over time."
Lin Feng sighed.
There was no real solution for this at the moment.
"Just keep doing what you're doing," he said. "If it gets too much, you can recruit some of our loyal customers as moderators to help with the workload."
Chen Ming's eyes lit up. "I was thinking the same thing."
Lin Feng then turned to Li Jun. "And you?"
Li Jun pulled out his phone and began reading.
"Here's yesterday's data. Total orders: 34. Items sold: 63. Revenue: 524 yuan. Cost of goods sold: 314 yuan."
He swiped to another screen.
"We ran out of most popular items during the afternoon delivery window, so the orders could have actually been higher." He looked up. "But there's no need to worry. The goods have already been restocked according to your instructions."
He continued reading.
"We spent 1,000 yuan on restocking. Mostly the popular items, a little of the semi-popular ones. As for the slow-moving items, we didn't restock them. We'll phase them out gradually, just like you said."
He scrolled down.
"Post-restock inventory is valued at 1,568 yuan. Cash after restock: 2,381 yuan."
Lin Feng nodded slowly.
We're improving every day.
And today was a weekend, so they might be even busier than usual.
"Alright then," he said, pushing himself up. "Let's get to work."
The rest of the day passed uneventfully.
They each completed their deliveries during their assigned windows, then spent most of their time studying in the dorm. During lunch and dinner, the four roommates hung out together, chatting about classes and the business between bites.

Sunday, September 27th.
[Infinite Money System]
[Total System Balance: ¥1,540.00]
[Available System Balance: ¥1,540.00]
[Personal Balance: ¥6,930.00]
Lin Feng observed his system.
Since yesterday had been a weekend, the system balance hadn't increased. And since it wouldn't increase today either, there was no point in leaving it sitting there.
He transferred the available balance into his personal account.
[Personal Balance: ¥8,465.00]
He dismissed the system and walked into the Market Supervision Administration office.
Normally, government offices would be closed on Sundays. But this year was special - the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Golden Week holidays fell together, creating an extended eight-day break. To compensate, two days had been designated as official work days: Sunday, September 27th and Saturday, October 10th.
Most people just treated them as normal weekends anyway.
But government institutions were different. They followed the schedule strictly.
And thanks to that, Lin Feng was able to get his company name validated earlier than expected.
His initial choice - Fenghua Holdings - had been approved.
The clerk handed him a stack of documents to fill out and explained that he would also need to submit copies of his identification. Luckily, he had prepared everything Friday evening. His own documents were ready, and he had already studied the forms he would need to complete.
He filled everything in quickly and submitted the paperwork.
Since he was registering as a sole proprietor, the requirements weren't too demanding. He did need to list a supervisor though - someone other than himself - so he simply wrote down his father's name. It was all just formality anyway.
As for registered capital, he put down one hundred thousand yuan. This was subscribed capital, meaning he didn't need to pay it upfront. As long as he fulfilled the amount within five years, he would be fine.
He was confident he could manage that.
After a few more filings, everything was finalized. The clerk told him to wait for a response.
Lin Feng walked out of the office and took a deep breath of fresh air.
In a few days, he should receive his business license.
He had to admit - the process was more straightforward than he had expected. He hadn't thought it would be this easy.
"This should be good practice for when we eventually register the delivery business," he thought.
