Chapter 3
A few moments earlier...
"what the hell was that sound.it was so loud.recently the demon activity at night .i must hurry"-davoy
Davoy hears a sound in the midst of the forest and changes his direction.
"it almost sounds like lightning strike.whats even going out there?is old lady kathe there?"-davoy
Davoy then reaches the place only to see grandma kathe lying on the ground.
"old lady….kathe."-davoy is astonished.
Booooom
"what is that?is that Tasdik?"-davoy
Davoy then observes the fight and doesn't interrupt as he is watching a new Tasdik.
The fight is over.tasdik notices davoy and comes at him to attack.
"divine art:sight lock."-davoy
Davoys eyes glow up and he activates his power.his power is to pinpoint any opponents weakspot and attack with full force.usually he fights with bows and arrows.the arrows he creates are made from his orka.
Note:orka is the energy that creates the powers within humans and demons.
Davoy closes the distance between him and Tasdik and deals a blow on his stomache.
Tasdik faints......
Tasdik opens his eyes.sees everything blurry.when he opens his eyes
"Tasdik…tasdik…are you okay?"-labubu
"where am i?what happened?"-tasdik
"grandma kathe…where is grandma kathe?and where is the demon?where is he?"-tasdik
"calm down Tasdik and listen to me.you have to rest.your wounds are still healing.although the rate of healing is unusually fast.but the good thing is that you are healing."-labubu
"where is my grandma,labubu?where is she?"
"she is ummm,"-labubu hesitates a bit.
"unfortunately she is dead."-davoy.
"what did you just say?who even are you?let me go.."
"you cant tas-",-labubu
"let him go,labubu"-davoy.
Tasdik rushes to her grandma.he sees kathe and starts crying.
"im sorry grandma.this all happened because of me.please wake up grandma."-tasdik
Davoy places his hand on tasdiks shoulder.
"this happens kid.we just have to cope up with this."-davoy
tasdik shoves away davoys hand.
"get your hands off me.what would you even know of losing someone you hold dear to you?she was the only family I had."-tasdik
"maybe you are right.haha.but kathe was also really close to me."-davoy
"how?"-tasdik
"I will tell you later.for now lets put kathe to rest."-davoy
"labubu,thanks for you help.you truly are an asset to the organization."-davoy
"thank you sir."-labubu
"say thanks to labubu,Tasdik.if it weren't for her,you wouldn't be alive right now."-davoy
"thank you labubu."-tasdik says in a soft voice.
Labubu turns red and hides her face with her hands and starts running saying
"I appreciate that,Tasdik.maybe treat me with some coffee next time."
"uhmmm,sure,I guess."-tasdik
Then everyone including the leaders of the squads of the night hunters organization are attending the funeral of Katherine.
"what the hell?why is the night hunters are here?"-tasdik
After a while,the funeral ended.tasdik goes to her grave and places flowers on it saying
"im sorry grandma.even if I am powerless,I will avenge you,grandma.i promise."
"what are you even saying?who said you don't have powers?"-davoy
"the truth.grandma died that day because I am powerless."-tasdik
"I read your report.says that you are powerless.but- you have powers Tasdik."-davoy
"what do you mean?i couldn't even get into night hunters because I am powerless.even though I have the grades,but not the powers."-tasdik
"the one who killed that moon demon,he is pretty powerful and known.you are the one who killed him,Tasdik.you too have a power,Tasdik."-davoy
"huh?"-tasdik
"that's right,Tasdik.you have the power identical to old lady kathe.you can use electricity and one other power which is still unknown."-davoy
"I am finding this really difficult.even if that's true,I am a late bloomer.wait,before that,who was grandma?why is the whole organization here?"-tasdik
"let me introduce myself first.i am davoy.the leader of squad 11 of the great night hunters organization.as for your grandma…she is the former leader of squad 11 and my instructor.she was one of the greatest."-davoy
"what?how come I am getting to know these after all these years?and from you at that.why didn't grandma tell me anything?"-tasdik
"beats me.suddenly she told me one day that she is retiring and wanted me to become the next leader.thats what happened.i never really asked her about her personal things."-davoy
"it just doesn't make any sense."-tasdik
"so…this is the wonder child I guess."-jack
"look who finally decided to show up."-davoy as he bowed his head down.
"the supreme commander.the legendary warrior in the flesh in front of me."-tasdik says in joy with his eye glowing.
"hahaha….you give me too much credit.i have heard a lot about you concerning the latest event.i am sorry for your loss,Tasdik.she and your grandpa truly was one of the greatest."-jack
"grandpa?even he was one of you guys?just why didn't I know all these things?"-tasdik
"they never mentioned about it.but surely they had their reasons I guess."-jack
"whatever…not that it matters anyway….i am not eligible to become a night hunter."-tasdik
"yeah…about that-"-davoy
"the performance you showed the other night truly was godly.davoy saw the whole thing."-jack
"but…I don't remember anything."Tasdik
"welcome to the night hunters,Tasdik."-jack
"huh"-tasdik
