Chapter 69 - Chapter 69 — The Kingdom That Must Be Seen

Lunareth's wings folded slowly as she spoke, her voice heavy with truth.

"If you truly want to build a kingdom," she said, "then it must exist in the normal world."

The room went silent.

"If you don't," she continued, "the Eternals will erase Astra Nox the moment they judge it a threat."

Reeve frowned. "Is there… any other way?"

Lunareth shook her head.

"No."

Reeve closed his eyes. "Then… give me one day. At the next meeting, I'll tell you my decision."

🌅 The Next Day

Everyone gathered again.

Reeve stood at the center, calm, resolved.

"I've decided," he said.

"I'm going to build my kingdom… in the real world."

Shock rippled through the hall.

Without wasting time, Reeve raised his hand.

A gate opened.

From Astra Nox poured builders—humans, orcs, goblins—working as one.

First, a massive wall rose from the earth.

Then houses.

Roads.

Barracks.

And finally—

A Town Hall, standing tall under the open sky.

Days passed.

Watching the growing city, Reeve realized something.

"…We have power," he muttered.

"But power without allies becomes a target."

---

🏛️ The Second Council

Reeve looked around.

"What if we form treaties? With other kingdoms—Eldmere, the Fairy Kingdom, others?"

Kaelith crossed his arms.

"Allies are useful. Fewer enemies stabbing your back."

Elaryn smirked.

"Hmph. Politics are annoying… but necessary."

Nerisse smiled softly.

"If treaties save lives, then I support it."

Tsukiyra nodded.

"A recognized kingdom survives longer."

Seraphyne spoke last, calm and firm.

"An isolated kingdom dies. I agree."

Reeve smiled.

"Then it's decided. We'll form treaties with as many kingdoms as possible."

---

🧚‍♂️ The Fairy Kingdom

Reeve's first destination was the Fairy Kingdom.

With him:

Seraphyne… and the Eclipse Collectors.

On the way—

Kaelith glanced at Seraphyne.

"Hey, Vampire Queen."

She raised an eyebrow. "Yes?"

"You fight with us, travel with us… how about making it official?"

"Join the Eclipse Collectors."

Seraphyne paused.

Then smiled faintly.

"…Very well. I accept."

Nerisse clapped softly.

"Welcome."

---

Inside the Fairy Castle, the Fairy King listened carefully.

"Astra Nox?" he repeated.

"I've never heard of it. Even Soro hasn't sent us a new map."

Reeve blinked. "Soro?"

"The World Cartography Council," the king explained.

"They record every discovered land and kingdom."

Then the king looked sharply at Reeve.

"Where is this kingdom of yours?"

Reeve answered honestly.

"…In the Demon Land."

The hall froze.

"W–What?" the Fairy King stammered.

"In the Demon Land?!"

"Yes."

The king sighed deeply.

"If you wish to be recognized as a king… then do one thing."

"Make your kingdom a place where any race can enter and leave freely."

Reeve thought for a moment.

"…If I do that, will Astra Nox be added to the world map?"

The Fairy King hesitated.

"…Maybe."

That was enough.
