They had slept peacefully, without dreams or disturbances. Morning came gently.
Laughter filled the dining table as they shared breakfast together—simple moments, warm smiles, an unspoken comfort between them. Soon after, PK, Lana, and Luna left for class with the driver, while Eve stayed back, already on calls, reaching out to trusted contacts to quietly build the foundation PK had asked for.
In the car's back seat, PK sat in the middle, Lana and Luna on either side. The ride was calm, familiar. At college, the day unfolded like any other—lectures, murmurs, routine.
Yet PK's mind was elsewhere.
I have the funds, he thought. But I haven't made my first real move yet.
Suddenly, the world tilted.
PK collapsed in the classroom.
Gasps echoed around him as his vision darkened. Just before everything faded, a thought crossed his mind.
This… has happened before.
When PK opened his eyes again, he was no longer in the classroom.
He stood in the Divine Realm.
The air was still, heavy with presence. Before him stood a familiar assistant, arms folded, expression unreadable. Farther away, seated casually on an ornate chair, was the God of Laziness, one leg crossed over the other, eyes half-lidded but sharp.
The assistant spoke first, his tone edged with impatience.
"It seems you are enjoying your mortal life quite well. Instead of focusing on your destiny, you appear busy building your own little harem."
PK didn't flinch. "Please get to the point," he replied calmly. "It feels like someone here is in a hurry."
The assistant bristled, but before he could respond, the God of Laziness raised a hand, signaling silence.
"You've grown bolder," the god said lazily. "That's not a complaint."
He leaned forward slightly. "Tell me, PK… did you forget something?"
PK paused.
Then his eyes widened.
"…The wishes," he said slowly.
The god nodded. "Two of them. Still pending."
PK lowered his head slightly, guilt flickering across his face. "No… I didn't forget," he said, though his voice betrayed him. "I just… lost track."
The God of Laziness chuckled softly.
"Power, money, affection—those are distractions. Not goals."
His gaze sharpened.
"You are running out of time to remain passive."
The Divine Realm grew quieter.
"Think carefully," the god continued. "Your next wishes will decide whether you become a ruler of circumstances—or a prisoner of them."
The words settled heavily on PK's mind.
This was no warning.
It was a reminder.
