Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 - Viewing sword stats for the first time.

Spoiler alert so you don't lose interest so quickly.

The protagonist isn't as strong and untouchable as he seems, that's all I can say.

To avoid repeating the same old thing, I intend to create new types of ores, elements/magic elements, and perhaps weapons.

Yes, this story will have a lot of smut content.

I followed Hephaestus and passed by several shops in the area. Many of them were crowded with customers.

'Well, our Familia produces the best weapons, so it makes sense. There are many strong adventurers around here.'

I can evaluate someone just by looking at them.

'He's Level Three, with great physical strength. That one is also Level Three.' I thought as I looked at the adventurers passing by us. When they noticed me staring at them, they lowered their heads in respect.

I am the most respected god in this city, even though I've never done anything particularly great. Surprising.

"It's as lively as ever, isn't it?" Hephaestus said.

"Yes, there are many strong adventurers here. I wonder if it wouldn't be better for them to go to the main shops in the tower."

"The weapons here are cheaper. Some adventurers don't have much money, even if they're strong."

"..."

I continued following Hephaestus for a while, and eventually we entered a forge for the first time. It was my first time inside one. I had this body's old memories, but seeing it with my own eyes was far better.

The sound of hammering reached my ears, and I began to feel an intense heat.

Several people were working at the same time.

They were all dwarves—muscular men. As soon as one of them noticed my presence, he stopped hammering and drew the others' attention.

"Oh, it's great to see you both here. Did someone place a special order by any chance?"

The man speaking was high-level, a very competent blacksmith within the Familia.

"I don't have an order. I'm just taking a look at the shops and forges. I need to know how things are going. Fortunately, everything seems to be in order."

"Hahaha, everything's going great. Ah, would you like to take a look at the swords we've forged recently? They'll be sent to the shops soon."

The man was about to head toward the storage room, but Hephaestus stopped him.

"It's fine. We're leaving now."

"May I take a look?" I said, but ignored and stepped forward.

"Of course. Come with me."

I followed the dwarf into the storage room. The moment I stepped inside, I held my breath. It was the first time I had seen so many swords, axes, spears, and suits of armor with my own eyes.

'These armors look nothing like the ones I've seen in museums. DanMachi armors are completely different.'

"Here they are." The man opened a box on the floor. Inside, I could see several swords wrapped in cloth. He picked one up and unwrapped it to show me.

When the blade was revealed, my eyes lit up.

The blade had a white, slightly bluish appearance. The glow it emitted seemed almost unreal.

'What kind of material was used to make this sword?'

[ Magic Sword ]

[ Material Used – Mithril ]

[ Attribute – Fire ]

[ Magic Conductivity – A ]

[ Attack – 1,456 ]

[ Durability – 2000/2000 ]

'Huh? I don't remember this being possible. I have no information about this in my memories.'

The only time I could see something like this was when I created a sword myself. I had never been able to see the attributes of a weapon made by someone else. This sword is good—but not enough to surprise me.

I've created swords that would make this one look like trash.

"Oh, you did a good job." Hephaestus, who had followed us, looked at the sword in my hand.

"This sword is very well made. There isn't a single deformity in the blade, and its magic conductivity is excellent. Good work." I praised him, then continued. "The only thing that could be improved is its durability. This sword will break quickly if the user activates its fire magic too often."

"You can tell that just by looking?" Hephaestus asked, surprised.

"Yes. The durability is decent, but not enough for long-term use by a high-level adventurer. If a Level Four or higher uses it for weeks, that's enough to turn this sword into scrap."

The dwarf fell silent for a moment, then said:

"It's great to hear an honest evaluation, but it hurts my feelings a little. Hahaha."

He laughed while ruffling his messy hair.

"That wasn't my intention." I smiled and handed the sword back.

Next, I examined all the swords. They were all high-level magic swords made of mithril, each imbued with a different element. All of them had good magic conductivity, but their durability wasn't that impressive.

For me, good durability had to be above 5,000. A sword with 5,000 durability could last for months—long enough to justify its cost.

As we left the forge, Hephaestus turned to me and said,

"It's the first time I've seen you so excited while talking to someone. What's gotten into you?"

She nudged me with her elbow and smiled.

"I don't know. I just thought it would be fun to give them some advice. They're working really hard."

"You did well."

As soon as we arrived at the tower, many people greeted us with smiles, and we went up to the Hephaestus Familia's main shops. The moment we entered, everyone lowered their heads and treated us with great respect.

Hephaestus went to her office, while I stayed in the shop, looking around. I began analyzing all the items on display.

Armor and weapons. The quality of everything here far surpasses the swords I saw earlier. Their attack power is much higher, and their durability is on a completely different level. Some of these swords even have S-rank magic conductivity.

Did Hephaestus forge these swords herself?

"Ugh, the prices are way too high," I murmured.

After looking at everything, I headed to Hephaestus's office.

She was working through some documents.

"Got tired of looking around the shop? Find anything interesting?"

"There are a few interesting swords out there."

I raised my hand, and slowly, a sword began to form, emitting a striking golden glow.
