Having multiple bodies is wild. I watch Louis skillfully dodge a wild charge from a ponderous tentacle beast; a huge monster the size of a small tree with an array of nasty tendrils for limbs, from multiple angles. I use my senses and think about the different streams of simulation entering the puppets sensory range, noting that their senses are weaker than my own. The "three" of us, two puppets and the human champion, are carefully wilting away its health. It's starting to get annoyed.
I pilot my puppets, sensing everything the faceless mannequin-like objects sense, and one of them is equipped with a hand crossbow I had the puppets make in a small town not super far away. While there's only a few settlements a champion player character visits in Mareth, there are actually many villages throughout the world they're just not safe from the various depraved threats that roam the world. We're out here doing some bounty hunting in the depths of the woods. I aim my hand crossbow in the direction of the beast, and if the puppet had a face it'd be smiling.
Louis, now a more experienced adventurer, raises his sword. He roars as he points his sword at the monster and a part of me cringes. The tentacle beast raises a tentacle to try and counter what it expects will be a simple sword swing. My puppet equipped with a ranged weapon fires a bolt coated in poison at the distracted monster and the real me, currently in my factory, cheers when the bolt strikes true, connecting with one of the thick legs of the beast.
"Owww!" The creature groans, causing Louis to pause. To be fair to him the fact that these creatures are sapient, and capable of speech, is not common knowledge. In the base game it's something that might only be viewable via a single specific loss scene, though I never saw it myself. Wiki-crawling is a fun pastime, or at least it was in worlds with wikis and I did it a lot both in my native reality and even in Chronicle to some extent.
"Louis! Focus up." I tell him, speaking to the man through the puppet. This gentle chiding allows him to recover his wits. He nods at the puppet that spoke and leaps into the air.
Louis' growth has been impressive. There's nothing magical about his skills, but he's a truly skilled warrior. The tentacle beast turns to face the puppet, furious at the attack, and Louis streaks downward. The distracted beast doesn't get the chance to try and charge my puppet as Louis cuts through its tentacles with a dizzying array of strikingly fast swings as he lands atop the creature's bulbous mass.
The monster comes to a stop. Louis looks at it and we both watch the creature fall, defeated. He can't see it, because I'm piloting faceless dolls, but I'm smiling as I watch him get excited. He's growing, and fast at that.
I'm in my factory. I only rarely leave in person, though I plan to do so in the future. It's been a few weeks since Zetaz, Tamani, and I first arrived here and a good deal has changed.
I peer out the window of my office and smile. The main part of the factory is now filled with life.
Goblins, several of which are my offspring, are blissfully stationed in pens of their own. They have been modified in the same ways as the "Demon sex cows" and have the same number of demonic machines and devices affixed to them. They have blissed out expressions on their faces. I'm not gonna show favoritism, or perhaps the opposite of that since letting people leave the factory is almost an act of cruelty, to anyone in my care, and that includes my goblin offspring, though none of the goblins in the pens wish to be anywhere else.
Every time a group of goblins has been born and reaches adulthood, a process that takes hours, I give them a variation of the same spiel I gave the original demon sex cows to populate this factory but since they lack memories of the world outside the factory I hit them with telepathy and flash their minds with images of the range of bad ends they could meet. So far they have all chosen to live here, with their mother and I.
Every time a goblin makes the choice to get on the production line, to contribute to the corruptive fluids we're creating, she commits to spending at least a month strapped into machines, though I have already implemented a system whereby those strapped into the machines get the chance to get out every few weeks. Each time this happens Tamani is annoyed she doesn't get new assistants… and I respond by offering to try again with a lustful smile.
To date we have 11 children, and all of them are adults. A few other goblins have ventured here of their own accord, after making contact with dolls and puppets elsewhere in the world and learning of this place. A part of me wants to make them into mates as well, but I'm restraining myself for now. And instead I take the lusts I feel towards them and channel those feelings to Tamani. The notion of naming myself the goblin king and attempting to bring every goblin in Mareth under my aegis is more tempting than I'd like to admit, and this is a time when I'm sure my corrupted nature plays a role but I also know that my own base nature is partially to blame. I like breeding and Marethian goblins are super into breeding so while I could try and blame my more Lovecraftian benefactor it's important that I be self-aware with myself if no one else.
Some of the others in the factory's central room are also new. Days ago I showed my demonic employees; Rapunzel and a demon engineer named Carl, my ability to create humans. After doing this I had them transformed into demon sex cows as well and asked them to step into pens. They did so happily, and have been blissfully existing inside of the pens since then.
I've used my ability to create puppets to staff the factory and to give assistants to Carl, with me making a handful of puppets that I specifically upgrade to have full autonomy, thus cutting them off from my network of eyes and senses, and to serve Carl as lovers. This arrangement has cemented his loyalty to me, and it's been an interesting case of me creating lovers for the first time; something a specific genie named Jenni from the Zaar CYOA is known for.
Tamani is currently a few hours pregnant and she is on the production line of the factory. She is naked, having adopted a philosophy of complete nudity two weeks ago, she "selflessly" claims it's for the sake of granting me easier access to her body and internally she notes that it's to overcome the annoyance of having to constantly adjust the straps on her breasts to account for her expanding breasts. A quirk of goblin physiology is that each of their pregnancies leaves them permanently, though incrementally, more curvy. In time, weeks, months maybe, it'll be an interesting challenge for her to move, though I already have some plans as far as that goes.
My grimoire is orbiting me and I study it a little bit curiously. The page it's currently turned to is my doll page, which now has hundreds of entries. I've not yet added any entries to it from this world exempting Zetaz as I want to go and add to it personally rather than through my dolls.
The page is one of those quirky supernatural pages that has no maximum length. It is filled with information on each of my dolls and their abilities, as well as my abilities. The real purpose of the book is to give me, as a dollmaker, a handy quality of life booster that allows me to modify my dolls from a distance, especially for the sake of giving them new powers.
Dolls are handy for their autonomy. They are fully independent constructs, as far as their defining traits go, that are undyingly loyal to me and will do whatever I command. Like puppets they are upgradeable, though since dolls are autonomous by default (assuming their creator doesn't give them commands) and have their own energy pools, their upgradeable nature will be more useful to most jumpers than the ways upgrades work for puppets.
My dollmaker page in my grimoire, a manifestation of the "Doll Power Book" item, lists every single one of both the abilities of my dolls and my own powers and has a numerical cost next to it. These costs denote how much of my "Potential Power"; the unusual energy I use to transform people into dolls, a given ability would cost to infuse a doll with. Dolls can also be upgraded in a more direct sense; with me spending energy to make them stronger, faster, or more durable, and the like.
This book lists well over the majority of the abilities I have and have witnessed so far in my chain, including some of my most unique abilities like my wish magic. At a glance the only thing it doesn't really offer is the MOGO ability to grant someone else telekinesis. Thankfully I can correct this.
I get up and leave my office, telepathically messaging my staff; including Tamani, that I'll be out for a bit. No one questions me about this as I've left a handful of times already just to go out and explore the mountains.
I slip out of the front door and turn in the direction of the cave this place is built into. I need a large space for the MOGOs, though when I'm done with today's activities I won't need a large space anymore which brings a smile to my face as I take first steps deeper into the dark space ahead of me.
Puppets are also upgradable but their upgrade process is more intensive. I can upgrade a puppet's raw attributes such as their strength and speed, with a touch and an expenditure of energy, but I can also grant puppets special powers I personally possess by converting these abilities into "arrays" and inscribing said "arrays" into a given puppet. Annoyingly for them to use their abilities they'd draw from the same pool of energy and/or resources I have unless I infuse them with an independent energy pool which I'll need to replenish whenever they expend the energy within it. Dolls do not suffer from this problem, having their own energy pools unless they are trying to turn people into dolls, which is very nice.
I am deep in the mountain when I come to a stop. I've walked for a few miles and I can see a thick wall ahead of me. It's perfect for what I want. I activate my ability to use Minecraft physics and go to town using disintegration rays to create a large cavern. I can fly using my telekinesis which I do to give the space the needed width and height for my purposes. This takes me minutes and when I'm done I'm standing in a colossal space, one with the dimensions needed to house my most terrible monsters. I reach into my grimoire and I summon the weaker MOGO: the monstrous creature I put down when Andrew, Steve, and Matt gained their powers years ago.
The lesser MOGO, worlds less gigantic than the gargantuan monstrosity that terrorized Tegucigalpa, immediately appears in front of me. It takes up a small amount of the cavern and I put a hand on it and infuse it with dollmaking energy. The requirements to turn this beast into a doll would normally be truly enormous but as I begin to put energy into it I speak to the creature.
"Do not resist this change. Accept it." I tell my minion. My true undead, which is what the creature now counts as, do not refuse my orders and in telling the creature to accept the change I feel it do so. This causes the energy requirements needed to change the beast to plummet, and I feel a mere fraction of what it would otherwise cost be drained from me before the thing begins to transform.
The creature, an almost worm-like beast made of crystal and stone, shrinks. As it becomes smaller its stone and crystalline body becomes humanoid both in shape and in form, gaining curvy human features as it is forcibly transformed. The transformation from weird worm-like creature to generically pretty human woman is strikingly fast taking mere seconds. As it occurs I glance at my book and I note the addition of two new abilities to the list of powers I can give my dolls: a telekinesis-granting aura and a dominating aura. These two powers are nice, and I can definitely see futures where these abilities come in clutch.
In moments the MOGO has become a human-like woman who stands quite tall and proud and I feel her mind filling with knowledge. I repeat this process with the other, larger MOGO, and with this I now have two scarily powerful dolls that are each weapons of mass destruction. Beowulf is one of my dolls as well, but the scary ass skeleton does not have anything like the city-block scale "Fuck you" telekinesis attack the greater MOGO has, though that spell of his that lets him use shadow spears is both scary and so powerful that they hurt the greater MOGO when it was my foe. To this day that beast remains my scariest foe, even though Beowulf was able to kill me and it wasn't.
"Oh the two of you will make for excellent additions to my forces." I tell the two. They both smile pleasantly at me.
Curiously the greater, more mature MOGO is shorter than the younger beast when the two are in their doll form. I observe the two monsters for a bit before I order them to accompany me back to the factory. They both nod, eager to be of service to me. We begin to make our way back, and I listen to their stoic silence. For a while now the MOGO have had the ability to speak and been fully awakened beings but they have very decidedly lacked interest in speaking. This trait seems to have not been changed by them becoming dolls. As we make our way back to the factory I ponder my progress towards becoming a "Desire entity"; my grandest goal even now in the wake of the revelation that I am a real-life Troyverse character.
My ability to make creatures into dolls is perhaps my newest major "Desire entity" power. It is up there with what dominating sanguinarchs can do to those they seek to control, though I lack the power to turn several people at once into dolls unless I collaborate with existing dolls which is not a limitation that affects dominating sanguinarchs. With dollmaker I can turn any creature into something I can fuck, and thus get power from. I still lack the power to give objects humanoid forms, which is what "Seduce the World"; my favorite Grand Adonis power, can do, but I can think of a few ways to attain a mimicry of that.
Generic Commander, Generic Artifact Warrior, A Wizard's Keychain, and Generic Wizard all have perks and abilities for giving objects humanoid forms. If I am somehow sent to those jumps I can gain the ability to give objects humanoid forms, and with that I can turn them into dolls. Those abilities would require truly gigantic amounts of training to be keyed to working on a scale that "Seduce the World" can work on; as it can give even unique, one of a kind magical artifacts humanoid spirit forms and can target celestial bodies and can affect objects on the scale that appear on maps like oceans or mountains, but between the assorted experience boosters I have right now and the fact that on a chain you're not really limited by time constraints, such abilities would eventually match the truly silly capabilities of StW.
I also really want StW, or an equivalent ability, before I reach Etherscape and the End of Time, as well as other Grand Adonis or Grand Adonis-lite abilities. Giving Omegatech bodies that can allow them to function autonomously AND having the ability to snag additional powers through them via sex is an incredible combo for an Omega Lord. Having the powers of a Grand Adonis in Etherscape, such as allowing items to be powered by my raw sexiness, would overcome the greatest weakness of Ethertech, and the Grand Adonis does have such a power in the form of "Erotech".
Grand Adonis… The Grand Adonis is the end-all, be-all of the Troyverse's desire entities with the only beings of love and sex that exceed them being the Anael, Joy, Glory, and the Archdeity. While a G.A. can start off pretty weak, even weaker than ascendants in terms of raw biggatons, they have truly unlimited sexual power and their jump document was designed to reflect that they are meant to grow over time. This means that someone who uses the jump document can eventually unlock all of the powers, though those are different from perks, even if they don't start off with every single power unlocked out the gate.
Their basic abilities include an unstoppable mind-whammy that makes those they have sex with undyingly loyal to them, essentially transforming their win condition from "Defeat someone" to "Have sex with someone". This is a power I don't possess though I could use Ultimate Chad to attain something similar if I wanted to and if I invested time and energy into a given relationship.
My dolls and I reach the factory and I order the two dolls to report to Rapunzel for, essentially, orientation. In the weeks since I've arrived I've shored up a lot of the protocols of working in the factory, though the dolls are the first dolls to work in the factory. An orientation is something I've created, since I am planning to expand the factory in a number of different ways.
The next few months pass in a blur. Louis continues to grow as a champion, steadily becoming more and more skilled, but he doesn't meet Marae for reasons that are unknown to me. I eventually speculate that Marae senses my proximity to him and is thus wary of approaching him but this causes me to take it upon myself to halt Marae's corruption and I begin this process by working to purify the waters pouring into the lake of the goddess, though I don't do this in person.
A few weeks into my newest stint of jumper time I install my puppet workshop in my factory and I create puppets with purification powers, via "Empathy Powers" which I deploy to steadily combat the efforts of the demons in a way that is subtle and unintrusive. There are better abilities for fighting this sort of physical, geographical corruption in jumpchains in general, such as the "Essence of the Healer" which is in a jump I made in another life, decades ago… But thanks to uncappers, experience boosts, and passive trainers "Empathy Powers" has improved to the point that it's doable for me to use it to purify corrupted fluids and the like. I could even use it to heal Marae if she'd let me.
My worldwide forces continue to map out the planet, coming across groups that don't get much visibility in the game's canon such as the ruins of villages in the swamp and communities of orcs. At the same time Alex begins to venture out of Tel'Adre, and I slowly plan our reunion. She'll be the key to bringing everyone together, though the others could, very reasonably, decide to stay in Tel'Adre.
Tamani gets her first assistants as some of our children; a goblin named Ruby and another named Alexis, decide against being strapped into the machines. These two are some of our newer offspring, being born about nine months into my stay in this world and I remain committed to keeping the goblin pregnant.
Tamani is the first, though not the only person, in Mareth to learn of my wish magic, which I use to expand our factory internally without making it seem larger externally and to instantly create tanks that can store tremendous amounts of the fluids the place creates. At the same time Tamani, our daughters, and I begin to work together to experiment with what is doable via the fluids the factory produces and due to Tamani and I's ability to become better alchemists via sex we eventually experiment with the fluids and water and discover how to grant the fluids consciousness. This is a fantastic discovery, representing the secret of creating a specific enemy type: "Green slimes", a monstrous slime creature that haunts the lake area in the game version of Mareth and is thus one of only a few combat encounters someone can have in that fairly safe area.
A few weeks after a year passes I gain enough experience and levels, thanks to my puppets going out and regularly engaging in combat, to "Evolve" for the first time. My "Demon" alt-form becomes a "Greater Demon" alt-form and my new form is that of a powerful, blood-colored demon with a prehensile tail. I also gain an ability to look at someone and determine their fetishes.
I eventually take to using Rapunzel as a stress outlet and as the main "Wisher" for the sake of wishmagic. This is, selfishly, because she's quite good at the sexy parts of wishmagic; an ultimately unnecessary though fun part of granting wishes that involves getting a handjob while the wisher makes their wish. I also discover that handjobs don't count for the sake of activating the Essence of the Ultimate Chad, which is a curious thing to learn but I don't mind it.
In time more and more people of various genders, sexes, and species begin to head to the factory. They've been told that it is a safe refuge from demonkind despite being run by demons due to the advertising of it done by various adventuring dolls and puppets who all claim to be from the factory.
Carl, Rapunzel, and I all have various means of satisfying our urges and so we don't take them out on those who live in our factory. At the same time I begin to create specialized living areas for new residents who choose not to live in the pens and instead do other work. In the background I slowly begin to plan a full campaign against the other factory, and have Alex ask around Tel'Adre about ways to appease Marae and gain her attention such that she might not immediately attack me or something linked to me and thus give me a shot at proving my desire to be friends without expending my one shot at "Just Give Me One Chance" on her for a simple, peaceful introduction. I believe I should be able to make her friendly to me, due to my charisma and "Hymns of the Ancients" but I don't want to approach her in person just in case
About a year and a half into my stay I begin to work on a pair of true puppets: ones I make by hand and upgrade in such a way that they are essentially copies of myself, modeling them after my human form. I do this slowly and over time, due to the effort involved, and I work on finalizing plans to head to the Bizarre Bazaar in person, as well as to go and defeat Vapula's Horde and the tribe of desert demons; two of the larger groups of demons out in the world that are canon parts of the game and that are not in the mountain stronghold of Lethice that I still have yet to find.
As far as influential demons go there are a few of note beyond Lethice, myself, and Zetaz if one sticks strictly to the game's canon. Akbal is a jaguar demon who is a false god and lurks in the deepest part of the woods. There's Ceraph; an omnibus demon (one with both a cock and a vagina) who is a powerful sorceress and dominatrix. The Hellhound Master is a friendly and social demon, to other demons at least, who is the lord of hellhounds and created them in the first place. And there's Vapula; a bog-standard succubus dominatrix who commands a horde of demons that terrorize a village in the plains. Of all of these figures the Hellhound Master is possibly the most chill, though he's actually had a pretty devastating impact on Mareth with hellhounds being fierce, powerful monsters that are every bit as likely to outright murder people as they are to "just" sexually assault them.
Ceraph and the Hellhound Master are both based in the mountains, meaning they should be close enough for me to eventually encounter them. Ceraph is easier for me to deal with fully than the Hellhound Master is, due in part to my ability to animate objects meaning I can move her mansion and her harem over to the factory if I can just encounter and defeat her…
It takes puppets a few weeks to finally locate Ceraph's mountain manor. The mysterious structure is located atop one of the larger flat portions of the mountain, and radiates demonic corruption and powerful magic. About 19 months into my stint in Mareth I venture there in person, accompanied by a pair of powerful puppets that are faceless, like most of my constructs, but armed with inscriptions giving them dollmaker and making them physically powerful. Today I will bring low a demonic menace haunting the mountain.
