The morning streets were busy, and Lin Chen sprinted forward without looking carefully.

Without hesitation, the teacher pointed toward the hallway.
"Since you like running so much, you can stand outside for the entire period."
Murmurs spread among the students. Some laughed quietly, others shook their heads in sympathy.
Lin Chen clenched his fists but said nothing. He turned around and stepped back outside, the classroom door closing behind him.
Standing in the corridor, sunlight falling on his face, Lin Chen exhaled slowly. His mind drifted back to the dream of the Heavenly Demon Lord… and the mask he never managed to remove.
