Chapter 3 - Awaken the Weak

The streets of the kingdom were shattered and burning. Dragons circled overhead, demons rampaged through marketplaces, and soldiers fled in every direction.

Cid staggered behind Kaelthos, still trying to comprehend what had happened.

Kael… how are you so strong?! Everyone else has a system… but you just… he trailed off.

Kaelthos didn't answer. Instead, he stopped in the middle of the street. Shadows began to twist and pool at his feet, like liquid night.

You're weak, Kaelthos said bluntly, his voice cold, yet almost calm.

Cid flinched.

I I know… I got a bad skill!" he stammered.

Kaelthos tilted his head, studying him.

"That skill is not permanent. You only think it is. Weakness is a matter of will. Let me show you.

Kaelthos raised a hand, and reality seemed to bend around them.

Focus. Your body, your mind, your very soul. Everything must align with your intent to survive."

Cid's system glowed faintly, flickering erratically.

Skill: Weak Constitution

Effect: Body remains fragile

Kaelthos stepped closer, eyes glowing with infinite power.

Fragile does not mean useless. It means you must adapt."

With a subtle gesture, Kaelthos infused Cid's system with his own power. Shadows, energy, and magic swirled around the boy. Pain shot through Cid's body as if every bone was being reforged.

But slowly… something changed.

The skill that had once limited him began to shift.

Skill Upgraded: Fragile Adaptation

Effect: Body is fragile, but can instantly adapt to survive any attack.

Cid gasped.

I… I can feel it.

Kaelthos nodded.

Good. Now, survive the real test.

Kaelthos turned toward the chaos of the city. A massive dragon landed on the palace roof, spewing fire. A horde of demons surrounded it.

Cid trembled.

"W Wait… are we.

Kaelthos's eyes glowed like ancient stars.

Yes. We are going to hunt them. Every last one.

He raised a hand, and the dragon screamed in terror as reality itself tore it apart, leaving only ashes. The demons froze and evaporated as if they had never existed.

Cid's jaw dropped.

H How… how can you just erase them like that.

Kaelthos's voice was calm, almost bored.

Because they are insignificant. I do not need to fight. I only need to will it.

In the distance, Kaelthos noticed flashes of light his classmates had arrived.

Some wielded swords, some magic, and some had even tamed dragons. But as they approached, a subtle fear ripple hit them.

Even with their powerful systems, Kaelthos radiated something beyond comprehension.

One classmate shouted:

Kaelthos Help us defeat the dragons

Kaelthos didn't answer. Instead, he extended.

his hand toward the nearest demon horde.

One thought.

One command.

They were gone.

The classmates froze.

Is he even human" one whispered.

Cid looked at Kaelthos with awe and fear.

He's not just strong… he's a god."

Kaelthos turned to Cid.

Stay close. Learn quickly. This world will test us, but we will bend it to our will."

And with that, the End of Everything and his fragile friend began walking through a kingdom in flames hunters of monsters, dragons, and chaos itself.
