CHAPTER 2
When Deji's family got to know about Simi and the pregnancy, the were sad, and wanted to go plead with simi's family but she ask them not to, they accepted her in.
Deji's father also got angry with his boy for doing this at a young age, he also got the beating of his life that night for adding more responsibility to the shoulder of his struggling parent. Deji was the last child, they were two, he had an elder brother that was four years older than him, his name was Bayo.
Deji was left in his thoughts, he cried all nights and no one to talk to him, everyone was blaming him. As everyone went to sleep that night he ran away from home, into the thin air, where no one knows his whereabout, leaving his pregnant girlfriend for his family.
Simi decided to stay with Deji's family, and the tried all there best to take care of her, they took her as a daughter and alway hope deji is fine anywhere he his.
Deji's family where poor and his father and Bayo was the one struggling to feed the family. The burden became much for the father that he became depressed and was later attacked with stroke and few months later he died.
All the family responsibilities was left on Bayo, to cater for himself, his mother and Simi his brothers pregnant mistress. No job, all he has to do are menial jobs to feed the family. He really went through a lot just to feed his family.
When it was time for Simi to deliver her baby, there was no money and she was detained at the hospital for several months with the baby boy, because she couldn't pay the fees. Bayo and his mother were running Helter skelter and doing all what they could to raise money. So they both started hawking in traffic just to raise the money and the most terrible thing happened.
