Monsters poured out—howling, clawing, enraged.
Kenji's body moved on instinct.
His fists burned.
Fire wrapped around a broken sword he picked from the ground.
Each swing was clumsy—
but deadly.
Blood sprayed.
Bones shattered.
The demon's voice guided him.
"Focus your karma."
Kenji screamed as his power surged beyond E-Rank.
For a moment—
D-Rank.
The last monster fell.
Kenji collapsed to his knees, breathing hard.
Around him lay corpses of demons and monsters.
And in his hand—
a sword still burning with fire.
Far above, Battler Organization satellites recorded the anomaly.
Someone was watching.
