A young boy wakes up alone on his bed. His mind in a daze.
"... Where am I? This doesn't look like my room?"
Despite having awoken to an unfamiliar sight, the young boy doesn't panic immediately.
"Congratulations on being chosen. You are now the main contractor of the Game Maker Management System!"
"The hell? A system? What am I a novel protagonist? Wait a minute. Does that mean I died?"
"... I DIED ?!?!?"
Perhaps the young boy isn't a morning person, it took him some time to understand the fact.
"Yes Host, you have died, and reincarnated into a fantasy world. More specifically, this is the Earth of Honkai Impact 3rd."
"... I'm going to take a drink and a shower. Remind me again after I got that in order."

"So tell me, why am I here, why are you here, what's my job, what's YOUR job, and the general details of the world, I guess..."
"Very well, Host. You are chosen to wield the Game Maker Management System to enrich the gaming culture of this world... And to bring to life One(1) Mihoyo game of your choice."
'That sounds easy enough. I'm not a big gamer, but if it's just making games with the assistance of a system, that'll be easy peasy. But still, Hoyo games in a Hoyo world huh?'
"You will be given a company to manage. This game company will be the one to make the games you chose. This company and yourself will be guaranteed to live throughout any tragedy the world goes through, untill the end of Honkai Impact 3rd Part 1. Be warned, if you fail to at least RELEASE the chosen game, you will be penalised, severely."
'Ooookaaaayyyy. The system has a catch. What a day. Wait a minute -'
"System, you say I have to manage a company? And this company is the one that will make the games?"
"That's right. Don't worry about the details. They made a contract with the Devil, and the Devil delivers."
'Alright, the system is straight up telling me he's not a good guy.'
"Alright. I think I get the gist of that... So, what now? What's next? This house looks empty, and from how short I am, I'm not even 10 year old right now right?"
"Correct Host. You were born in 1998, and is currently in the year 2003. Your physical age is 5 years old. Please choose your Endgame."
"1. Honkai Impact 3rd"
"2. Genshin Impact"
"3. Tears of Themis"
"4. Honkai: Star Rail"
"5. Zenless Zone Zero"
'Themis is a no go, barely anyone even knew about that game. Zenless Zone Zero is cool, but I don't have a particular attachment to it. Making HI3 in THIS world is just a suicidal move. So the real options left for me are... Genshin or Star Rail... Both of them are the "Potential Man" of Hoyoverse. Great ideas but slightly lackluster in execution, back in my world. If I can get my hands on them...'
"System. I've made my choice. Honkai: Star Rail, will be my ENDGAME. "
"ENDGAME chosen. There is an estimated time of 10 years before the main timeline starts. For now, you must lead your company to make games and build reputation for the Endgame's release. Don't worry about anything else. That part will be handled by me."
