In a world where will creates energy, humans form Associations and become Hunters to fight monsters.
Hican, a boy who fails the Hunter test due to unstable sound-wave power, discovers a forbidden force hidden within Hiren Energy. When a mysterious blue stone merges with his sword, he awakens water power—only to lose control of his own body.
Tested by elemental spirits of water and fire, Hican must conquer fear itself to survive.
This is the story of a failed boy who rises as a Solo Hunter, forging his will into power.
SOLO HUNTER: AWAKENING OF WILL
Chapter 1 – The World of Will
In this world, every person is born with their own will.
That will creates energy.
Energy forms Associations, and Associations create Hunters.
Long ago, mysterious beings descended upon Earth.
They granted humans power and left behind systems to control it.
Only those with strong will could survive this power.
Hunters are ranked by strength:
Basic
Mid-Basic
Pre-General
General
Each Hunter can awaken only one skill.
There are five major Associations, classified under Grace, ABC, and PM grades.
Hican's Test
A boy named Hican dreams of becoming a Hunter.
He enters the Association test.
His will reacts and produces sound-wave energy.
At first, the power seems promising…
But it spiraled out of control.
The sound waves smashed the test ground.
Hican's energy shook violently, bouncing him around.
He fails the test.
He is rejected as a Hunter.
This was just the beginning.
Friends Who Remain
Hican leaves the Association quietly.
Two people follow him:
Heron, a calm swordsman who swings his blade with precision and energy.
Dan, alert and strategic, always watching the surroundings.
Though Hican failed, they stay with him.
Together, they step into unknown danger.
The Hiren Energy Stone
The trio reaches a forbidden area filled with Hiren Energy.
At the center lies a glowing blue stone, pulsating with power.
Hican touches it.
The stone melts into his sword.
Suddenly—water energy bursts out, enveloping him.
The First Monster
A monstrous creature appears.
Hican swings the sword.
A massive wave of water cuts through the monster, shattering it into pieces.
For the first time, Hican feels power coursing through him.
But the power does not obey me…
His body shakes uncontrollably.
The water energy throws him across the area.
Another monster approaches.
Hican tries to strike again—but the sword weakens.
At that moment, an old Hunter appears.
Fire surrounds his blade.
With one devastating strike, he destroys the monster's head and warns:
"Power without control will destroy you first."
Hican stares at the sword, breathless.
What is happening to me?
Chapter -2 Water,fire, and fear
The water energy continued to rage uncontrollably.
Dan grabbed Hican, pulling him outside just as the collapsing area shook violently.
Hican collapsed to the ground, staring at his sword.
What is this power inside my sword?
What is this power inside my will and spirit?
Dan's eyes scanned the area.
I've always stayed alert, watching from the sidelines… but now I feel the tension like never before.
The Water Explosion
In desperation, Hican struck a broken fence.
The water energy reacted violently.
His body exploded like a water bomb, sending debris flying in every direction.
Everything faded into darkness.
The Water Spirit
Hican awakened in an empty, calm space.
A Water Spirit appeared, serene and majestic.
"If you want to use my power, you must pass my test."
The test was simple:
"Destroy everything here.
Turn this place into stone using water."
The spirit hinted at a big hidden story, but refused to explain more.
Hican nodded, accepting the challenge.
I have no choice… I must succeed.
Blood Without Bodies
Hican reappeared outside.
The ground was covered in blood.
Buildings were destroyed—but no bodies remained.
Enemies appeared, calling out:
"Come with us. You must know what happened."
Hican stood tall, determination blazing.
"I must kill the monsters. I have already faced red."
Dan watched silently, astonished.
Hican is no longer the same boy, he thought.
Something powerful has awakened within him.
Fire Awakens
Suddenly, a massive presence rose from the chaos.
Fear and determination collided inside Hican.
I cannot let this power control me. I must rise above it.
From deep within, fire erupted—not from anyone else, not from a spirit, not from the sword itself.
The flames were born of Hican's will and courage, of the fear he had conquered.
"I am not weak anymore!
I am fire!
I am a Phoenix!"
The Fire Fury Sword ignited completely, flames swirling around him, stabilizing his water power.
Dan stepped back, wide-eyed.
"Your sword… How did it become this strong?"
Hican looked forward, silent and awakened.
The destroyed battlefield stretched behind him, a path of chaos and fire.
