So, Peter was trying to talk to me about his girlfriend. I waited patiently, even when he would go off to talk to her, kiss her, and hold her at the corridor near our classroom. I'd pretend not to see anything,turning my face away, acting unbothered. But deep down, it wasn't easy. I'd just say to myself, "Please be fast," trying to stay calm and act normal.
As time went on, Peter and I got closer. We became really good friends. We would chat online a lot, share personal things, and laugh together. Eventually, Peter started confiding in me about his relationship issues.
He told me that his girlfriend,Prisca had been acting distant. She didn't want to talk to him anymore and was avoiding him in school. I tried to advise him, saying, "Maybe she just values her space. Some girls are like that."
Then one day, Peter told me they had broken up. I was shocked.
I asked, "Why would you break up with Prisca?"
Peter just shrugged. I didn't believe it at first,until I saw it for myself. They weren't talking anymore.
