A woman smiles as she is handed a handful of gold " she's at the back I'll go get her " she says turning to a girl get nami for me , the girl nods as she runs to get her , she goes to the back of the house where we see a girl washing a handful of clothes " nami " the girl said as the girl washing turned to answer " the mistress sends for you "the girl said , as nami got up to meet her mistress, as she approached she saw a two men who seemed to be merchants standing by the mistress , as the mistress noticed her she said " ah look she's here " as she gestured for nami to move closer " humm she looks different " one of the merchants said " oh well she's a foreigner she's not a native of Japan , but she no different from a woman who can work " the mistress said , the merchants stared at nami a girl with deep red eyes and very light hair almost white with lighter skin than most " well take her " they say as they grab nami by the wrist bonding her with rope but nami did not resist for this was not her first time , soon they rode away in the cart as nami looked at her now former mistress counting the monet she was sold for .
Days passed, as they merchants made more stops, at houses buying more slaves some cried , begged and even tried to run but to no avail , soon the cart was now filled with about five girls , as they rode they saw an empire ahead , quickly making their way reaching a market square where different people made business , but kept moving nami observed soon they made a stop at a beautiful jade gate and we're allowed to enter the compound where they waited in for some time before a beautifully dressed woman came " where are they " she said , the merchants quickly brought out all the girls for display , the woman stared inspecting all of them before stopping in front of nami " why does this one look weird " she said " oh well that would be cause she is a foreigner but I assure she is still a woman and can work " the merchants said the woman stared " this girl is not worthy to serve in the Royal Palace of the emperor " she said " I'll take the four " she added , as she threw a bag of money to the floor the merchants fell on there knees like dogs as the picked the money but before the woman could leave a young girl quickly ran and whispered something to her , she then turned throwing another bag of money " I'll be taking the weird looking girl too , now get out " the merchants wasted no time ,as they grabbed their money and quickly left now just the woman and the five girls she gestured for them to follow her , they did as they entered the Palace they saw more servants everywhere the Palace was quite full they were led to a room were they were made to clean up each girl was handed a uniform, soon after they were done they made their way to room were a the same woman sat waiting nami entered noticing how full the room was as she tried to find a place to sit soon a voice spoke " shut up " and then silence, it was the woman " I am mistress Aya and I am the head of the Palace up keep , is that understood " she said with a firm voice as the girls nodded in uniform " now I don't care about your background whatsoever all I know is that you have all been paid for , you will all be assigned you rolls and you are to adhere to every one of them , obedience is not optional and if found guilty you would pay greatly, I'm I understood " mistress aya says in a firm voice as they all nodded in uniform .
Soon they were all assigned their rolls some cooking, washing and the rest but nami was assigned serving the food easy enough nami said to her self .
Soon the day ended and the girls had to go to their sleeping quarters as they laid in their rooms a girl spoke up to nami " wow you have really strange features are you fro)]m here " a girl said " oh and my name is yoko " nami turned " I'm a foreigner " nami said " oh what's your name " yoko said " nami " nami answered " nami isn't that a Japanese name " yoko said " it is " before yoko could reply a man shouted from outside quiet they quickly turned to sleep .
