Prolog - hellfire

Year 2043. It was the year humanity finally laid hands on magic—a power that should have remained a divine secret, now fallen into mortal hands. At first, the world was mesmerized yet cynical. Man began to weave this mystic force into every fiber of life, but history always repeats itself: great power in the wrong hands only births catastrophe.

As the global economy crumbled, magic ceased to be a tool for creation and became a weapon for the poor and the oppressed. Brutal anarchy erupted as a form of protest. Buildings were leveled, vehicles incinerated, and lives were lost in every corner. Geopolitics reached a boiling point until an all-out war between sorcerer factions became inevitable.

Amidst the chaos engulfing the globe, the global elites made the worst possible decision. The apocalypse that modern man never dared to imagine finally arrived.

NUCLEAR.

Thousands of warheads were launched simultaneously, striking every pillar of civilization. The world was purged of sorcerers at a devastating cost: the entire surface of the earth was scorched into oblivion.

Thirteen years have passed. The gray clouds of radiation are beginning to fade, allowing the sky to radiate its blue hue once more. The few survivors who sought refuge in underground bunkers are crawling out, only to find a world that has become a stranger. A world without internet, without phones, without computers—stripped of every modern comfort.

Civilization has been forced back thousands of years, entering a Second Medieval Era. Advanced technology is now nothing more than heaps of rusted iron, useless without electricity. The sword and courage have once again become man's most loyal companions.

In the midst of these ruins, where nature slowly reclaims what was lost, I stand.

And in this world, the destiny of a child begins to move.
