Guards made their way but the reinforcements weren't there yet.
"This is it! Let's deal with remaining guards and buy some time. Kael, please dismantle the devices and lock the gate to underground so no guards come as reinforcements! I will help you once I get one of the bracelets." said Willy.
Kael made his way, moving toward the tower.
"Where do you think you are going, huh? You dare defy us!" exclaimed Guard, standing in front of Kael.
Guard was going to attack. However, prisoners grabbed him from behind.
"Go ahead, we will take care of these guards!" exclaimed one of the prisoner, urging Kael to move forward.
"What do you think you fools are doing!? Do you have any idea who you are up against!!" exclaimed Guard, attempting to free himself.
Kael passed through the western prison area beyond the Magi-Barrier thanks to the bracelet he had.
Just as Kael was told to lock the gate, he closed it, thereby delaying incoming reinforcements.
Going upstairs inside tower right after that, reaching the fifth floor.
There weren't too many guards upto top floor- tenth floor according to Willy's knowledge.
Kael hardly encountered with guards but he sneaked inside the control room on fifth floor
He turned off the devices, the little rumbling emerged as the Magi-Barrier disappeared in all areas of the prison.
As Kael attempted to go back, Willy came in.
"Kael, we should head to the top floor. There is still one threat remaining. And you see, I have a grudge on them. He is the one who operates everything in this place. He is the reason my fellow guildmates and my other friends died." said Willy.
"Let's go, I need to get my magical staff as well which is on tenth floor. I assume you have already shut down all devices including those which locked out magical abilities? I can feel my magical powers again." said Willy.
Kael noticed the bracelet Willy wore.
"I had snatched one of the bracelets from the guards. The one who operates this place isn't the leader of The Saints but rather in-charge of this place. We need to bring him down." said Willy.
Willy knocked out all the guards upto tenth floor without Kael's help at all. Kael observed him, realising that he is still strong despite not having a weapon to boost magical abilities.
"I am sorry, I don't have one of my magical staff and so I may not be of much help." said Willy, but his actions spoke opposite.
Kael didn't respond, letting Willy to clear the way and reaching to top.
Both of them finally reached the depth of the tower, standing in front of a big giant gate made up of hard black jet metallic materials, the carved out design on the door resembles like an angel.
"Beyond this gate. Let's go." said Willy, unleashing a tsunami onto the gate, shattering it into pieces.
Kael and Willy went inside the wide hall. An individual was standing there, seemed to be waiting for their arrival.
"I was just going to put a stop the mess you both created. But I guess you both showed up yourselves. Hello there, I am the operator and the one responsible for managing prison for The Saints." said the operator.
"The name is Jeff." said Jeff.
"Well, you see Jeff. Because of The Saints, I lost some of my precious friends and guild suffered a lot from you guys. You should surrender and pay for your crimes." said Willy.
"Oh really?...." said Jeff, with a calm tone.
Jeff suddenly smirked. "Try me." said Jeff, taunting Willy.
"Well, I will use the harsh methods then." said Willy, deploying multiple ice shards toward Jeff.
Jeff wielded his flail, swinging it accurately to negate ice shards.
"Kael listen carefully, my attacks may not be enough against stronger opponents like that guy if I don't wield my weapon for magical boost. You can see many weapons here, please find mine. There is only one jet black magical wand which belongs to me." said Willy.
"I will hold him off in the meantime." continued Willy, keeping his eyes on Jeff.
Kael obediently listened, trying to search the weapon while roaming around.
"And who gave you permission to roam here freely in the middle of a conflict?" asked Jeff, bothered by Kael's behaviour.
"Sorry don't focus on him because I will be the one to bother you more." exclaimed Willy, launching tsunami with all he got.
Jeff countered it barely with the help of his ability create earth barrier by smashing his flail onto ground.
"Although non magic users rely on physical abilities, they still have sufficient amount of magic powers to help them use some abilities while also combining them with physical abilities. I always hate this fact because I am a mage." said Willy, unleashing rapid Ice Shards non stop.
"Shut your mouth, you are not allowed to talk with your filthy tongue." said Jeff, negating all attacks again.
"Gotta admit I barely managed to defend myself." said Jeff, wiping off the dust off of his collar.
"Are you only capable of defending?" asked Willy, provoking Jeff.
"If you wanted to provoke me, you successfully did it." replied Jeff.
Jeff rushed forward, swinging his flail to strike Willy.
Willy couldn't react on time, getting struck with two heavy hits.
"What? Is that all? You are all injured. Is it because of the metallic spiked ball of my weapon? Or is it your own fault to protect yourself?" asked Jeff, mocking Willy.
"I guess you are right, but you rushed blindly. Look below." said Willy.
Willy had set up the ice trap. Jeff, upon stepping on it, instantly got his lower limb frozen.
"You should have just casted a spell to directly entrap me instead of setting it up. Why go through this all trouble?" asked Jeff.
"You could have dodged them probably. I can't risk losing so I can't use thoss spells. Besides I don't have much magic energy to waste on the likes of you." said Willy.
"I see..." replied Jeff.
