Inv thoughts all stopped when he felt something physically touch him. Feeling the sudden touch Inv jerked back from where the touch came from by instinct.
"S-sorry Inv! D-did i hurt you? I- I can't tell…" Inv could hear the worry in Joey's voice.

Even now… while looking like this… Joey was worrying about him…

Inv could feel himself deflate on the ground. All worry escaping him at the moment. All he felt was relief…
"I-Inv?!" Inv felt Joey quickly approach his side.
"Are you ok?! I… I don't know what to do! C-can you hear me? What is-
Joey's words stopped when he felt Inv slowly push himself into Joey. trying to show he was alright.
"U-uhhh… does… does that mean you're ok? I didn't nothing wrong?" All Inv could do in response was push himself more into Joey. showing that he was ok.
"Umm… ok… this is kinda confusing…" Inv heard Joey not saying anything else. He wasn't sure what Joey was doing. All he knew was that Joey wasn't pushing himself away from Inv.
And this made Inv feel extreme comfort. Knowing he wasn't being pushed away even while looking like this…

"Alright… how about this…" Inv felt Joey's paw touch a part of him.
"I'm going to ask questions that you can answer with only yes or no. If you want to say yes, push yourself into my paw. If the answer is no, don't do anything. You understand?" Hearing Joey's idea, Inv grew excited! He was worried about not being able to speak to Joey at all while like this.
With excitement, Inv pushed himself against Joey's paw.
"G-good! That means you can hear me, right?" Inv pushed against Joey's paw.
"Ok! Umm… can you see anything?" Inv did nothing.
"So you can't see me right now… that kinda sucks…" It really did suck, Inv wished he could see Joey right now…
"Can you speak at all?" Inv didn't move, not actually sure…
"I'll take that as a no then? So you can't see or talk… but you can hear me… can you feel my paw?" Inv pushed against Joey's paw.
"Yeah that was a dumb question, of course you can feel my paw… can you still eat like this?" Inv pushed into Joey's paw.
"So you can taste, hear and feel while not being able to see or speak… how weird…"
Inv could feel Joey start to relax, hearing his heartbeat calm down compared to earlier.
"Ok this is gonna be kind of a weird question but… do you mind if I… feel all around you? That's weird I know but I'm just curious" Inv wasn't sure why Joey wanted to do that but he didn't mind. Secretly, Inv was a bit excited for Joey to do something like that.
Inv didn't move, telling Joey that he didn't mind at all.
"I'll take that as a no? Ok… just uh… push me back if I do something wrong, alright?" Still feeling Joey's paw against him, Inv pushes against it. Acknowledging what Joey said.
With his confirmation, Inv could feel Joey's other paw start touching Inv, moving around the surface of his being. If Inv was a slugcat right now, he would probably be purring…
"Y'know… you feel surprisingly smooth Inv… you kinda remind me of something from my world… uhh… what was it again?" Inv wasn't sure what Joey was talking about. Just enjoying the feeling of Joey's touch.

"That's right! A Slime! That's what you remind me of right now!" Hearing this, Inv wasn't sure what Joey meant by slime. Did Joey have a better idea what Inv really was? He did say earlier that he saw what Inv truly was with his ability earlier…
"Well, not like a slime slime, you just have the shape of one. But you feel weirdly smooth" Inv could feel Joey's paws trace all around Inv's form. Just listening to Joey's rambles at this point.
"It's kinda like skin but not really? I'm not sure how to describe it… I'll show you a picture later if I can get one somehow" Inv was starting to get used to Joey saying words he didn't know the meaning of. Just enjoying the moment…
"To be honest Inv… you don't really look that terrifying. I'm not saying you are or anything! It's just…" Inv heard Joey trail off. Inv was curious what Joey was about to say next. It was also nice to hear Joey say that he didn't look scary…
"Weirdly Enough… Your still cute…" Hearing this, Inv grew a bit embarrassed. His form wiggling a bit in joy from Joey's words. Joey thought he looked cute like this? Inv himself wasn't really sure… but being adored by Joey made Inv feel happy…
Feeling more and more comfortable in this form. Inv let Joey rub him all over. Enjoying the impromptu massage…

"Can you change back into what you looked like before? I'm not saying you have to, I'm just curious" Hearing Joey's question. It took a moment for Inv to think of an answer.

Although he felt a strange familiarity with his current form… Inv could confidently say he was way more familiar with his slugcat form. Inv wasn't sure how… but he just knew he could switch back if he wanted to.
Pushing himself into Joey's paw. Inv answered yes.
"Hmmm… so if that's a yes… then can you do only certain parts of the body? Like growing a mouth in your current form?"
