Nora's POV
Kevin's massive wings disappear into his back without a trace.
He moves to the window with purpose and raises his hand, feeling the energy radiating from the creatures outside. Their chanting grows stronger as more voices join the unholy chorus.
"What are they chanting?" My hands instinctively protect my belly as the adrenaline fades and pain begins to surface.
"That's not Enochian," James sounds genuinely shocked. "I've never encountered that dialect before."
"It's from the old demon realm," Kevin explains grimly. "And they've trapped the celestial beings."
"Trapped them?" I echo his words.
"The demons created an energy wall around this property. I can enter, but I cannot leave."
"Then I'll carry you both through their barrier," James offers without hesitation. "You have flight capabilities, correct?"
"Correct." Kevin presses his ear against the glass. "That would be our smartest move. They're preparing for the same ceremony Chad planned to conduct."
