Nora's POV
The porch swing creaks beneath me as I settle back, my hands instinctively moving to cradle my swollen belly. Renata seems restless today, her tiny feet finding every sensitive spot along my ribs while she stretches against the walls that confine her. I roll my shoulders back and extend my arms overhead, watching Zerra bound through the grass with endless energy.
Seven days have passed since Gideon delivered that fragment of gemstone to our door. Seven days since I discovered the white feather that confirmed what my heart already knew.
Kevin has found his peace.
