Jonathan's POV
"Jonathan? Jonathan, wake up!"
"Savannah?"
"Look at yourself! You're covered in blood!"
"What are you doing here, Savannah? How did you find me?"
"Shh, it's okay! Let me check on you!"
Savannah dropped to her knees between my legs, her movements careful and deliberate. Her fingertips traced a path from my temples down to my cheeks, across my nose, over my lips, then along my jawline. Every place she touched left a trail of warmth that spread through my entire body.
She pressed her lips together in that familiar way she always did when she was worried about me. Her hands continued their journey downward, moving from my throat to my collarbone, then across my chest and stomach.
"There's so much blood," she whispered, her voice heavy with concern.
"It's not mine."
"You're hurting. I can see it in your eyes," she said, her tone sharp with reproach.
