Jonathan's POV
"This is your fourth inhibitor today, Jonathan! You're going to kill yourself at this rate!"
"I'm already dead! Just focus! We have to find Savannah!"
My voice came out ragged and breathless. Savannah has been missing for twenty hours now, and we still have nothing. No leads. No trail. Nothing.
Savannah.
The thought of what that sick bastard might be doing to her right now makes rage tear through my chest like fire. His dirty hands touching her skin, holding her down while he forces himself on her. I can picture her terrified face and it nearly drives me insane.
"Get it together, Jonathan! Your eyes are glowing yellow. You're scaring the hell out of me!"
Ethel slammed her fist into my shoulder, trying to snap me back to reality. I was impressed she didn't run screaming from what she was witnessing.
