The first principle of control: ensure you always hold the advantage.
"Savannah, are you alright?"
"I think so."
"I'm sorry for leaving you on your own."
Second principle: introduce a more pressing danger than yourself, regardless of its actual strength.
"Should we head back now?"
"What about Mateo?"
"There's a secure location with personnel where I previously housed the children. Let's pause our domestic arrangement for today."
Third principle: remove all obstacles and diversions to help the target unwind.
"Alright. You won't do anything strange to him, will you?"
"Come on! Trust me a little! I'm just concerned about you!"
Additional note to principle three: when the target resists, act naturally. Excessive pressure creates suspicion.
"Understood. But I need to see him before you have him taken away."
"Let's get you away from here, shall we?"
