Chapter 90 - Chapter 90 But, Hulk is stronger.

Chapter 90 But, Hulk is stronger.

Although this 'Explosion Magic' didn't have as wide an area of effect as the previous one, its power was actually no less. Finney Hellseg concentrated the power on a single point, so in some ways, the damage was actually higher.

After releasing it, Finney quickly checked the system. The huge amount of experience left Finney stunned. A full seventy Mordos' worth of experience points! He was overjoyed.

"Looks like it really is related to completely eliminating the enemy."

Finney sighed inwardly with mixed feelings. Today's trip was really worth it. Bronsky contributed at least a quarter of his experience, which made his sixth draw not so far away.

"Mage, fire, powerful, but, Hulk is stronger!"

On the other side, Hulk also came back to his senses and continued to argue with Finney about this issue.

  "Hehe!"

Finney was too lazy to argue with Hulk. He was just a brat. What's wrong with taking a step back? Anyway, they would spar for experience in the future.

Although the experience gained was enough to confirm Bronsky's death, just to be on the safe side, Finney still went to the deep crater created by the 'Explosion Magic' to check it out.

Bronsky, barely recognizable as a human, lay in the crater, his body charred black, a pitiful sight.

Finney was still surprised by Bronsky's strength; the previous 'Explosion Magic' had reduced the central robot to ashes.

Bronsky, having taken the hit, had survived intact, indicating his body was several times stronger than steel.

To nip the problem in the bud, Finney, though exhausted, gritted his teeth and unleashed another 'Explosion Magic' to destroy the evidence.

  "Boom!"

But after the first shot, Bronsky's body remained a charred lump, showing no signs of cremation.

  "Boom!"

Another shot landed, and Bronsky shifted his position.

Finney was furious; was this guy still causing trouble even after he was dead?!

Hulk, seeing Finney 'playing' around, ran over and watched curiously.

Finally, after Finney's fifth, breathless 'Explosion Magic,' Bronsky was gone, leaving only some black powder.

Having finished the cleanup, Finney was exhausted; this was even more tiring than fighting hundreds of robots, but thankfully he had won in the end.

Looking at Hulk, Finney suddenly remembered something and quickly asked, "Where's Stern?"

  "(._.)"

  Hulk looked confused.

"When you came out, didn't you notice anyone around you?"

Hulk continued with a bewildered expression, replying, "Enemy, gunshot, pain, mage, danger, help."

Although Hulk's explanation was simple, Finney roughly understood; Banner had encountered armed soldiers and had no choice but to call Hulk out.

After defeating the enemy, he unexpectedly witnessed Hulk's fight with Bronsky, so he immediately came to help.

Finney was surprisingly touched. Just some chicken wraps and the word "friend" were enough to make Hulk rush to his aid regardless of the enemy's identity. This friendship felt exceptionally pure to Finney.

  "Thank you!"

Finney said, even though he didn't need help at the time, Hulk's kindness was enough to earn him those words.

Perhaps because he had never experienced anything like this before, Hulk scratched his head, looking a little embarrassed.

Finney didn't rush to find Samuel Stern. He looked up at the nearby laboratory, deciding to destroy the blood first.

Back in the lab with Hulk, Finney gathered the remaining blood and vaporized it all with a 'Explosion' spell.

Still uneasy, he glanced at the destroyed campus, pondered for a moment, and decided to play it safe.

"The school's been destroyed so badly, it'll definitely need renovations. Giving you a new lab isn't a bad deal,"

Finney silently told Samuel Stern. He told Hulk to leave the lab, checked carefully to make sure no one was there, then flew into the air and, with his last strength, unleashed an 'Explosion!', destroying the entire lab.

Watching the lab slowly engulfed in flames, Finney took Hulk to look for Stern, but couldn't find him. Finally, he opened a portal and left the school with Hulk.

Shortly after Finney left, in addition to the military, S.H.I.E.L.D. arrived at the school to investigate. The team leader was none other than Finney's acquaintance, Black Widow Natasha.

"What happened here? Did someone launch a missile into the school?"

A S.H.I.E.L.D. agent stared in shock at the deep crater created by Finney's 'Explosion Magic' in the schoolyard.

"No, it's said to be the Silver Knight."

Another agent beside him, taking photos as evidence, said with equal astonishment, "I really don't know how he did it, and I heard even Stark doesn't know his identity."

"Do you think he might be an alien?"

Although they were S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, they were still normal people, and they had secretly discussed the mysterious Finney more than once.

"Who knows? Anyway, his armor is clearly different from Iron Man's and War Machine's."

Not far from them, Natasha looked at everything around her, especially the deep crater blasted out by the 'Explosion Magic,' and reported the situation to Nick Fury: "They're not here anymore."

"Judging from the scene, it doesn't seem like he was fighting that big guy."

Listening to Natasha's report, Nick Fury calmly said, "I already know that. It was an operation carried out by a soldier on his own."

"See if you can find out why they came here."

"Sorry, sir, why not just ask him directly?"

Natasha was a little confused. She already knew Finney's contact information, so why was Nick Fury going through all this trouble?

Nick Fury was silent for a moment. Considering that Natasha was one of his more trustworthy subordinates, he explained, "He doesn't trust us, and he's even very wary of S.H.I.E.L.D."

"Too much contact will only make him more resistant!"

From the attitude on the last phone call, Nick Fury could tell that Finney didn't like being constrained or having his life disturbed, so he didn't want to contact Finney unless absolutely necessary.

After a thorough search by S.H.I.E.L.D., they quickly found Samuel Stern, whom Hulk had lost, unconscious under a desk in a classroom.

When he woke up, he looked completely bewildered, unaware of what had happened.

  "Hello, Dr. Samuel Stern,"

Natasha said with a sweet smile, approaching the dazed Stern as he was brought to the interrogation room. "If it's convenient, could you tell me what happened here?"

  ...

Meanwhile, Finney, worried about frightening Skye, didn't dare take Hulk home directly, instead opening a portal to the Himalayas.

But after bringing him here, Finney was troubled again. If Hulk couldn't turn back into Banner, he'd have to consider where to put him tonight. In the freezing cold, Hulk  wearing only pants, stared at Finney for a moment before uttering three words: "Hulk, hungry..."
