The Emperor's Legacy
Thousands of years ago, in the era of the First Emperor, within the palace of the First Emperor, Zeravos…
On the first night after the announcement that the Emperor's second son would inherit the throne, darkness engulfed the sky. The stars did not shine, and the moon hid behind the clouds, as if it refused to witness what was about to unfold.
That night marked the end of one story… and the beginning of another.
The golden throne gleamed within the Hall of Grandeur, standing tall as a symbol of power that had endured for centuries. Upon it sat Zeravos, the Supreme Emperor—the ruler who held within his grasp the Seven Forces of Nature: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Ice, Nature, and Light.
Clad in a purple robe and wearing a crown adorned with rubies, he gazed upon the map of the empire hanging before him, contemplating the vastness of his dominion.
Footsteps echoed behind him. He did not turn—he knew who it was.
In a deep voice heavy with exhaustion, he
said: "Valerius… is this truly the time for conversation?"
The son stepped closer, stopping directly behind the throne. His eyes were as dark as molten lava, his hair like drifting shadows. He did not answer.
Instead, he silently drew a dagger from its sheath, then spoke with chilling calm: "How are you, Your Majesty?"
Zeravos replied without turning: "I am well… but the preparations for Rakshol's coronation are near, and the burden weighs heavily upon me."
Valerius smiled—a smile devoid of emotion—and said: "My brother Rakshol… the soon-to-be Emperor…"
Zeravos sensed a demonic, shadowy aura surrounding his son. He tried to turn toward him and spoke hesitantly
: "Valerius… my son—"
Before he could finish, the dagger pierced his back, driving through to his chest. The Emperor gasped as his body lurched forward, blood spilling onto the carpet of the throne.
Valerius whispered into his father's ear, his voice stripped of remorse
: "You were great, Father… but your era has ended."
The crown fell from Zeravos's head, striking the steps of the throne. He looked at his son with eyes filled with shock and betrayal and whispered
: "I expected this from everyone… except you."
Then his body toppled from the throne, crashing to the ground with a force he had never known before.
The palace walls trembled, the earth shook, and the spirits screamed across the heavens.
What had occurred was not merely a crime—it was a shattering of the eternal balance.
From the Emperor's body emerged a pure light, which split into seven celestial flames that surged toward the earth, incarnating within the first seven children born across the world… destined to become the new Emperors.
As for Valerius, he smiled, lifted the bloodstained crown, and placed it upon his head. "From this day forward… I am the law."
He raised his eyes to the moon, now emerging from its hiding place, and wiped the blood from his face. He murmured cryptically
: "Your turn now… Rakshol."
Yet not all of Zeravos's power vanished. He had hidden a fragment deep within himself—a secret no one had yet discovered.
But what was that hidden truth?
News of the Emperor's death spread like a thunderbolt.
Soon after, Valerius declared himself Emperor, especially following the disappearance of his brother Rakshol. His reign became one of tyranny and merciless oppression. The people wondered: Did he do all this out of lust for power? For the throne? Or was it all born of a long-buried hatred?
Humanity believed the world had reached its end, that no savior would come.
But suddenly… the new Emperors appeared, bearing the power of Zeravos. Each was bound to one element of nature. United, they rose to face Valerius, yet his dark power proved far greater. Thus, they chose to combine their strength and seal him away.
And they succeeded.
Valerius was sealed within his own land, and the territory of the First Empire became a prison for demons. It was named the Savage Lands, lying at the center of the Seven Empires.
From that day onward, a new world was born—divided into seven empires:
Earth,
Water,
Fire,
Air,
Ice,
Nature,
Light.
As for the legacy of Zeravos…
it still conceals a secret yet to be revealed…
