In the Mato headquarters Kyouka and Ace followed the cheerful Ginna who kept sparing glances at Ace, he took notice to just not care.
"Please go straight ahead here, she is waiting."
Ginna pointed at the door as both entered inside.
'Not bad for a place decorated like in the human world in this desolated dimension.'
He looked around to see that they entered a garden.
"Someone is not amazed."
"Do i have to be?"
"Just that someone like you would be then again....."
She dismissed what she said with a wave of her hand.
"To have something like in this dimension Ren-san as a commander surely has good connections."
Kyouka nodded adding to that.
"Yes she has connections to even higher ups like even the prime minister who calls upon her to be her bodyguard from time to time."
As they kept walking they saw Ren playing with her dogs smiling happily.
"Commander!"
Ren looked up to see them as the dogs got in front of Ren and growled at Ace. He wasn't bothered by it he surely could make himself friendly but his presence made them hostile.
"they don't like you, you really are something."
She got low and calmed them down ushing them to play somewhere else.
"Why have you just called us on us two?"
"I want to see how this man can contract with others and you as his owner surely wouldn't mind me using him?"
"Is that an order commander?"
Ace wanted to laugh how Ren thought that about Kyouka being his owner. As Ren thought Kyouka's peach power which she could enslave Shuuki could possibly be something that may have granted him such power.
Which many of those she surrounds herself have talked about.
Both stared at each other and Kyouka sighed. She couldn't say no with just looking into Ren's eyes.
'Why does everyone want to form a contract, even though it isn't his fault for him having a peach blessing, I hate how he attracts more women.'
Irritated but didn't show it she just moved aside. She let Ace handle her.
Though curious to see how Ren ends up. In a way she was one upping the commander.
"Then how does one form a contract with you?"
"Why do you want too?"
"Because I can, what makes you able to refuse me?"
She spoke with coldness as her demeanor shift that of a commander of the Mato organization.
But he didn't back down on his stare as for some reason Ren felt like she was staring at a giant. But the feeling vanished. As Ace just simply smirked.
"You're right commander, I cannot refuse you and for this contract to work you just have to drink a drop of my blood."
"As, I expected you cannot defy m-"
What he said at the end caught her off guard.
"Here."
He bit his thumb and hold it above as it dripped blood. Even kyouka was surprised as he didn't let her go by this method.
"You!"
For some reason she felt angry. Was he trying to be funny.
'I should put him in his place.'
But she held herself back. She then gave him one mean glare as she proceeded to drink the droplet of blood. Instantly, she felt her whole body change.
Ace confirmed her powers, she was strong definitely much stronger than any other chief. He could change that in an instant and make Kyouka the strongest but there is no fun in that.
Still, he wanted them to be the best version of themselves. Power can change people even the one's with the best character.
Ren tasted the metallic flavor of his blood. She looked at him waiting for something to happen.
Soon enough, Ren who has more powers than anyone in this world.
So what could Ace grant her?
Absolute defence.
JUst because she was the strongest offensively that didn't mean she that the strongest defense. Even though she could regenerate near death if allowed too.
"What.....will you help me with now."
"Absolute defense, just because you're strong as the commander these will be two powers I can grant you."
He vanished as then as black line markings appeared on her face. Which resided on her right eye which also her eye changed into a striking crimson eye with strange marking.

She felt the flood of information seep into her mind. Her eyes widened as she drew a sharp breath.
She looked at her hands and arms but she felt a difference. Kyouka watched silently as Ren looked at her.
"Attack me."
Kyouka was taken aback thinking she heard wrong.
"Excuse me?""
"Try it right now Kyouka I order you to attack me full strength."
She heard it again, Ren was serious as her expression gave Kyouka no room to not go along with her order. She always wanted to test herself against Ren again and now she was given an opportunity.
She vanished from her spot.
*Swooosh*
A punch was thrown so hard it would have broken bones and put a hole into her side killing her.
"Is that all?"
She taunted Kyouka eye's became cold and she launched a barrage of attacks only for Ren to stand there not feeling a single hit.
Ren grinned she couldn't believe such power. She was about to attack but suddenly she felt her body get heavy. She instantly got on her knee. She panted as if feeling drained and tired.
'What just happened?'
Ace saw it and never includes the outcome to using that power he grants always letting them figure it out.
By all means being unkillable for 1 minute is more than great it was godlike. As the power Ace granted her was was invulnerability.
She could withstand anything except soul attacks. Mind control, charm, instant death, curses anything external was unable to touch her.
But it made her chest heave as she was drained from all her mana.
"What did you !?"
Ren eyes narrowed as she didn't see Ace. Ace appeared beside Kyouka who understood what was happening.
"Nothing just that a power like that to be unkillable surely has setbacks but it's nothing big just you're really weak in that department so you need to train some more."
He bluntly said as her forehead showed a vein she gritted her teeth as she trembling on her way standing up.
"You hide things from me!? I will sh-"
Before she could say anything, her body felt something different as Ren face became blushed. Her killing intent vanished.
"Kyouka do you mind going somewhere please?"
Kyouka looked at Ren and at Ace. She scoffed looking him with a suspiscion gaze.
"I'm not going to do anything."
He could see she didn't believe him.
"Alright maybe a little but not that type of thing."
He then poked her forehead causing her to pout cutely. Ace leaned in for a whisper.
"Don't be a bad girl alright? I don't want to punish you~"
He voice was filled with husk. Her face brightened red but she didn't say nothing. She became meek and left obediently. Kyouka for some reason couldn't say anything back or disobey.
"Bastard...."
She responded weakly with no ill intent behind it. She left leaving Ren and Ace alone.
